"A 100,000 nuyen debt is not the same as a 100,000 nuyen bounty.  However a 100,000 nuyen debt at 10 points vigorish after two weeks is already 120,000.  That sort of accelerated debt is not tolerated for long and I do not expect anyone but a friend to get a better deal than 10 vig on a loan that heavy from the Russians.  Regardless, there is an option which we haven't seemed to discuss yet.  The Bog.  Aki will be attending.  If we find it, we can find him.  If the choice comes between bothering the Yakuza and assaulting Horizon, I will take the Yakuza every time."

Since no one had come up with solid info on this game, Jun decided that it was time to reach out to Jim.

<<@Jimmy:  Hey Jim.  I know that part of our relationship requires us to keep our business separate, however I thought you might have some insight we currently lack.  Do you know anything about a Yakuza event called The Bog?>>

"Yea that what I meant LJ, I'm pretty sure we can get some extra but I don't know much about the Yaks, I mean they are pretty hardcore, not sure how it would turn. On the other side, I'm pretty sure they'd like to have some info on this guy before he goes into heavy debt or tries anything stupid to get rid of it...

Anyone knows a Yak or two ?"

"You're honestly suggesting we tip off the Yakuza? For all we know, they might be working together. I think it'd be a lot safer not to let anyone know. If the Vory are willing to pay to have a chat with our guy, they can have what's left of him after we're done with him. But I don't want them or anyone else interfering with our business."

Not sure they work together I mean this guy seem to have the very bad habit of getting in debt quite heavily. I doubt the Yaks will be an exception, my guess is that he'll try to win the cash at The Bog to pay for the stuff. That wouldn't surprise me if the Vory loan was for that. Not that I think he'll actually pay, he's a compulsive gambler it seems. He might plan to pay up but most likely he'll just bet his gains. But for what it's worth I think we have better chances to take a look at The Bog than to try to assault a AAA fortress that specialize in privacy ...

@team: We also still don't know for sure that Aki goes to theYak's The Bog. It maybe sounds like a coinsidence that, but this is Seattle and you can find illegal gambling event going on all week.

And I don't think that illegal casion will have aguest list lying around somewhere.

While he starts to typing something in AR, Space looks at Silk [assuming she is also in Habu by now] and ask her: "When we go for the Yak"s casino instead for the hotel, we might change your breakfast for today?"

"I thought that you three might can do both. Go to the hotel and invite Aki to the Bog event. Silk's alias for today knows Aki from Atlantic City, owns him a small favor from back then and wants to invite him to the casino."

The smell of coffee was the final reason for Andromeda to get out of bed, she had gathered all of the team with simple fetch quest type of commands.
She put her nose trough the door, "Morning." but even thou she defiantly didn't want to come out in her sleepwear, but the aroma of the freshly made coffee was just too irresistible, so she stepped trough the door wearing only a T-shirt and shorts.
When she takes the first sip of the black substance, she reawakes to her looks and the state the team are looking at her, but to seem not to care Andromeda joined the discussion.
"Why a favor, just someone who knows him and states that she is in the city for the BOG and hopes to see him there. he might not even have heard about it, but now will defiantly have interest as a gambler. And you should learn that the more details there are in a plan, the easier it falls apart."

"Just a question," Kitten asked, "can we invite people to this casino thing without the Yaks wondering who we are?"

Morning, sorry for occupying your living room.

When she takes the first sip of the black substance, she reawakes to her looks and the state the team are looking at her, but to seem not to care Andromeda joined the discussion.

"Yeah, whatever. But  just in case, Aki talks to you in person in the hotel, Silk, tell him something reasonable. You can probably have meet him in the restaurant were I worked, it was russian though and the owner Kork was a Vory for sure, but since you are japanese, Aki shoulden think you for one of these russian mob. I can tell you more if nessecary to buffer up your story."

"Just a question," Kitten asked, "can we invite people to this casino thing without the Yaks wondering who we are?"

This will be something the four of us have to find out today while you three are have breakfast, but as far as I saw it at the casino webpage, you only need a maglock-code and be at the right time at the right door. For latter I have might have an idea - their server is somewhere on Redmond, I can track it for a more accurate location.

"Hm, yeah, that could work. If Oren's a gambler and he got some fame for having struck rich in Atlantic City, she might recognize him by having seen his picture on the matrix or from standing a couple of tables away. That could use as a way to start talking to him should the opportunity present itself.
Mentioning going to that casino might be good to learn if and when he's going -or to get him going there if he wasn't already- but without any information about the game or the Bakuto Casino or The Bog, it might be tough a tough story to hold onto if he wants to talk more about it.
Did anyone even bother checking the Matrix for those names?"

Silk did, now.

Sry, I had priority on hacking the hotel,, shich by the way would keep me buisy for around the whole day. Not the hacking actually, but the have encrypted their whole system, probably powerd by one of the Horizon's supercomputers. And I don't know what's behind that encryption wall neither.

Bla bla, give me a few seconds and I will see to it...

Data Search: The Casino
Data Search: The Bog

The casino also has a game called E-Card, ... hmm ..., maybe I can provide us with 5k or 10k game credits for that game. Afterall, it's not that hard as to forge real money.   ;D
Data Search: E-Card

Correction, by the way, the node from the casino webpage is actually in Renton, not Redmond.

There's nothing on the public matrix matching the bog.

You write Jim better than me so here's what he knows: An Renton abandoned apartment block was bought and refurbished by a company that turned out to be a Yak cover, the apartment functions completely normally except the 4th floor (out of 7). they knocked all the walls don to make their casino. He can find out the address, for a fee.

Lazarus finds traces of the casino and the bog being covered up on-line to keep word from spreading electron-fast.

You find rumours of E-card, including on Underworld 93's shadow BBS.

Can Space run a track-program to find the address?

Can he forge some game credits?

No, track only works on an open connection.

Not without knowing how the game works an opening an account at the casino

In case you didn't realise, E-card was mentioned here: http://forums.shadowrun4.com/index.php?topic=3173.msg39095#msg39095
