As noted in the IC, Cobb Galleria's existence is common knowledge. I'm locating it where the current real-world one is, but it's not the same building. It's one of the more common "small" conference centers used in Atlanta so odds are you've noticed it in the news-rags a time or two, but not in depth.
The Atlanta Botanical Garden existence is also common knowledge. Like most touristy things it tends to be visited mostly by out-of-towners and people with money and time, so none of you (based on your knowledge skills) know much about it. It's a big showplace of plants and every so often it, like a few other places, gets in the newsies for this, that, and the other pompous activity.
Reminder, Lone Star is Atlanta's law enforcement agency. It also provides backup if not primary security to most corporate zones in the area.
