Glyph and Umaro bolth make good points. It's less that I expect an unaugmented human to be able to match Thomas here by determination, a bit of luck and having 75 extra build points by not being a troll with all sorts of cybergear installed, it's just that I want them to still be able to make a useful contribution to the group.
Here is the version 2.0 of my troll. Pimped out properly. I eliminated most of the skill specializations and picked up heavy weapons, as well as fixing the many parts of cyber and matrix gear I'd gotten wrong. Doh. Toughness is gone, but no new point of body.. turns out I'm already at 200pts spent on physical and mental attributes. Bioware picked up because it's so cool (sleep regulator) and a really cheap option for boosting a skill I wanted (Athletics, at half off essence cost for already being so cybered)
