My question, vin, is why you decided to skip the meet? Not liking clubs is one thing, but skipping the meet, especially with a new team, means that they could easily cut you out, or that the pay will get based on the number of people present, or that the team may think you're a plant. Heck, even the rigger that never leaves his basement is present through a drone!

Because 1), my character is socially awkward in the world outside his small village back in Japan. Was ait a good idea for him to start a new in a big city outside his home country....probably, but it was something he is willing to do to better himself, he ended up being a Ryu kind of character in the aspect that he looks to get better in his Art. 2) As most places especially the super public music club scenes and such would not warrant him brandishing a sword...most likely, plus it's a family sword he would dare never leave it with someone. This kind of stuff would come out if my character was asked.

I know that everyone has intricate storylines and personality quirks, but as of this moment we're all solo freelancers.  If you aren't part of the meet, and everyone likes more money, they can easily just not share the information with you and get a bigger cut.  Sometimes people have to go way out of their comfort zone to get food on the table.  I doubt we'd cut you out since it's the first mission and all, but if you look at it from a roleplay only perspective, it doesn't make much sense to be nice enough to do that in the world of shadows.

Guy was pretty vague about everything. Anyway we can do a data search based off of a picture if someone took a picture of the johnson. connect the dots from there and have a better idea of who's contacts would be best to get in touch with. I might be making this more complex than it should, but best thing i can come up with.

10k for the team.  Split 8 ways.  Seems like a lot of work to find a data disk for 1k.  Not to mention he has no pictures, leads, or any information to get us started.

That being said, I have a few points into Music and Data Haven knowledge skills, and a good browse program.  So it's not a dead end if anyone is having doubts.  Accept it or move on?  I'd say lets get this over with and get paid quickly.

I have a knowledge skill for music, but I'm not certain any of my contacts could work for that. Well the Spider could theoretically, but he'd just be doing things our hackers can do.
