Here's an attempt of mine to create a street samurai who's good in a few key areas. He's designed to be good at both melee and ranged combat, to be an adequate backup face, a decent driver, and he carries a Pocket Hacker for some matrix ability. How could he be improved, and am I missing anything?

I'm not really into the cyberlimb rules, but don't you need a cybertorso to get cuberlimbs with attributes higher than your max natural ones?

Whoops, you're right on that one. Those enhancements can't go over 4.

It's enhancements over 3 that you can't have without a cybertorso.

You appear to have no Manuevers. Two-Weapon Style and Iaijutsu are both excellent choices.

Some of your limbs have availability over 12 - Bulk Modification adds to Availability.

A suggestion you might want to consider: instead of loading up on ways to reduce the essence cost of cyberware and then expensive limbs, consider ditching the compatibility stuff, getting Synaptic Boosters, and then getting (possibly slightly cheaped-out) secondhand limbs. The reason is that you probably want to replace your limbs eventually anyways, because of the availability screwjob you get during character creation. You can also get Adapsin this way before you start putting in good expensive limbs. This is not necessarily the right move, and it depends very much on how long-term you want to be thinking and how fast you expect to earn money, but it's an option worth considering.

Something for the matrix part. Use AR instead of VR. With AR you use your meat speed and initiative passes. You take a hit in a couple minor area of hacking but nothing you could not over come. You can do AR with a (cold sim module)
