Omar is asessing tactical overlay that begin to compile in VR.

Hm..you see? Piece of cake...in and out and payday.

Yet, his sarcasm sounds a bit thoughtfully.

As he says that, he searches the Matrix for a, updated version of his Japanese Linguasoft. If that's still a possibility, it's worth at least browsing prices.

Fractal easily found Japanese linguasoft, it's one of the most often sold worldwide anyway.
Sorry for a small delay ;)

Looking through the prices ranges, Fractal selects a very good (and expensive) Japanese Linguasoft. The reviews he found on some reliable sources indicate that this one is a top-notch one, and so he makes his mind in spending a little more for the better benefit. After all, talking is his bread and butter.

Quote from: Shopping Log
Fractal spends 2500 nuyen on a Japanese Rating 5 Linguasoft; now he got 1125 nuyen left.

The download is instantaneous, and as soon as he verifies that the file is stored in his 'link, he gives it a try. After mumblind some sentences and quoting a little bit of Rashomon just for the fun of it, he consider the transaction to be worthwhile.

Then he pats Omar senseless shoulder (even knowing that the rigger is currently on VR) and says out loud: "Well, Omar, it just come to happen that I've got a surplus Japanese Linguasoft that you could take for yourself in order to understand what the goons are talking about and to get some discounts on your favorite noodle stand. It's a bit outdated and everything, but, hey, it really matches your talkative personality, you know?"

I'll have my data sprite run the search for the plate.
Quote
Data Search(4)+Browse(4),15min= (Used Edge for 1st 2) 8d6.hitsopen(5,6)=3,
7d6.hitsopen(5,6)=2,
6d6.hits(5)=1 (glitch, used last bit of edge to negate)
5d6.hits(5)=0
I'll do an hour max; hopefully the first 30min will be enough. And that would be the sprites' last service.

Mouse will scan for hidden nodes in VR:
Quote
Computer(4)+Analyze(5)+TM(2)=11d6.hits(5)=3

@Omar: I don't know if I'd send your fly spy in there since radar is not picking up anything. I think they may have a Faraday cage in there. It's not uncommon in high security areas when they want to prevent wireless communication. Though why a Teahouse is anybody's guess. Now if I could get close enough I might be able to get access through a wired device.

Fractal is a little absent minded looking at the canister of nanotattoo he has in hands, designs of a very traditional japanese dragon tattoo already forming in his mind, while Sam is talking about the cosmetics. But after a little while, his mind comes back to work and he remembers:

"Oh, sorry. My mind was elsewhere. Look, I'm not completely sure about that, but I believe I've seen some biostatic nanite paste lying somewhere on my living room... Is that what you need? If so, we can get it, my roommate certainly wouldn't mind. And my home is some twenty minutes from here, probably even less, considering our driver."

"Great, now just we need to know how would you like to look like and we could make you looks like any Out of town big Yak boss, and i guess the acting part will not be hard on you will it?"
Sam inquired, but in truth he was ready to go himself if needed, but his part as a bodyguard would be much more understandable and useful.
Sam also activated his radar to see if he can pierce the House

Son. For a Faraday cage you need perfectly cofined space. Like this good old microwave owen. Fails every time someone opens the doors or window. My guess is wifi inhibiting materials in walls, or high powered ECM. The second one is going to cause you a cancer, if you stay in range long enought, and ostheoporesis and I dont know what other shit as a bonus. Trust me. Festac is full of cripples like that. So. Wifi inhibiting paint or wallpaper are the only options I can see right now...in the walls of this main building, since those limo nodes are clearly visible.

Omar follows his speech whith pointing on things he is talking about on the tactical AR overlay. Despites he was arguing about spending money on Tac-Soft package, he looks pretty comfortable with it.

So I guess there is somebody who knows his job, that means even our network wont stay invissible forever, if we operate with full signal range. Well, they by my opinion cannot afford to rely on smoke signals if it comes to trouble, so they deffinitively need some kind of communication. Laser, Microvawe or good old optical line. That means we should look for this kind of sources..and I guess that I will pay a visit to the underground...I got 50 meters of fiberoptic line...which can be pluged into our little bug and we may get in touch with their internal wired system. But Id like to do this After someone enters the house and proves, that such system exists.

When Lips is back, he buts the new information into their tacnet, of better, he asks Kitten to do so.

"One small watcher is patrolling and a powerful ward is around the tea house. Later is powered by someone in the city somewhere. And just for general information, there is also the possibility of a mental link  between the ward creator and someone inside the building. "

Ward? How does those things work...its a wall built around the place? Or it is a field generated from some center?

"It's a sphere around the building, magical creatures like my spirits can't get through. I have to deactivate some of my foci too  to get inside the tea house with this meat body here. A astral observation upfront, however, will be noticed by someone, I'm afraid.

Hence, if we really going to make any extraction, you shouldn't have a problem, but I will need at least one or two ours to work my way around the ward."

Ok. Mouse is going to get his CFs ready should they be needed.

Quote
Improve Exploit:
Compile(4)+Resonance(5)+TM(2)=11d6.hits(5)=6
I can only take 5. Since I made over half the number of successes is that considered a critical success?
Fading 5P=Will(5)+Res(5)=10d6.hits(5)=4
So Mouse is at 1P damage and his Exploit is at 10.

Improve Stealth:
Compile(4)+Resonance(5)+TM(2)-Sustaining(2)=9d6.hits(5)=3 no glitch discard,
9d6.hits(5)=5
Fading 5P=Will(5)+Resonance(5)= 10d6.hits(5)=2
Using a point of Edge to reroll misses ( 8 )=8d6.hits(5)=6
Whew, so no damage.
So Mouse now has a 10 Stealth and a 10 Expoit and 1P 1S

You see Mouse's nose begin to bleed again and he suddenly winces with some pain but it vanishes quickly. He seems to be relaxed now despite the nose bleed.

He switches to AR view to maintain his CFs. With that he wipes his nose on his sleve.

@Team: My programs are all up and running, ready to go.
