If such is the case, you're in the wrong business.
In short, Incipit says, forcing herself to not pay attention to the gun-toting buffoon, what my colleague is getting at is that we would appreciate free access to any and all information even remotely associable with this incident, Ms. O'Carolan or you and your associates, that you would be willing to lend us. We realize, of course, that you and your associates are likely to be in possession of data which you would rather keep a secret, and hence, we fully understand if you cannot give us much of worth.
Moreover, I believe that we would all appreciate a clarification on a few points: First of all, if, during the extraction, Ms. O'Carolan is wounded or worse as a result of our intervention, even given reasonable precautions taken to avoid such an incident, what would the result be? Secondly, is there a chance that Ms. O'Carolan has left of her own free will, and if so, which course of action would you want us to take? Thirdly, are you willing to provide us with compensation for lives, limbs, valuable equipment or similar, lost during an eventual extraction?
