In the name of all that is holy, do not make this at all mechanically favorable.  I think we've seen enough Drizz't clones to know that a sudden bandwagon spike baby count would far exceed the total population of Seattle within days of publication.

Make it 5 bp, you get 4 more BP to spend on Knowledge skills, and your normal cap of one Knowledge skill at 6 or two at 5 is doubled (2 at 6, or 4 at 5, or 1 at 6, 2 at 5). There you go.

Actually, from what I understand, Spike Babies are a known phenomenon and Elves living a really, REALLY long time is perfectly normal.

Should definitely make sure to note it as an "Elf Only" quality, though.
