The obvious first change would be to swap your Charisma and Logic stats so that you can maintain your drain resistance. (As an unfortunate side effect, this will cost you some Knowledge skill points, but your social skills will improve.)
Also, if the character is Shinto, then you might want to consider getting rid of the Binding skill. From a character standpoint, I don't think that a Shintoist would bind spirits, as they see the spirits as kami to be revered, rather than just a tool to be used like the hermetic mage does. Consider using the points that you had previously put into Binding to strengthen your less-than-impressive Counterspelling skill and outright-pathetic Assensing skill. Your teammates will thank you when you can better defend them from enemy spells and identify auras of potential threats. (Likewise, you would trade in your Spirit Binding Materials for other equipment worth 2,500. Perhaps some additional armor... you can wear a little more than you currently are.)
Depending on circumstances, consider changing your contact from a talismonger to a Shinto priest who can give you an in with a Shinto magical group that can help you initiate.
