Heh, if your GM does not like edge, then it should be removed from the game.  My GMs not only allow edge to be used, but reward good RP with renewal of edge throughout the session.

Plus edge is replenished at the start of a "mission", or when GM says "all full" so to speak.

I mentioned it before, but I guess it was missed...

Do you plan on having Wired Reflexes? Only one initiative pass is... well, not normally done.

With my limited scope of mechanics understanding, I wasn't able to make a survivable character with more than 1 Initiative Pass without turning them into a Gunslinger/Gunbunny, which this guy is not about.

Am I missing something?

[edit] And I don't have a GM at the moment. I only discovered Shadowrun a few days ago. Still looking for a PbP game (Since there are not games in my area that I can find)

[edit edit] It's my 4am, give me a break >_<

Wired Reflexes doesn't automatically imply/make a gunslinger/gun bunny.

Basically, most people who intend to go into combat are going to have multiple passes. Not having more than 1 pass means you're going to be standing there for at least two seconds (in-game) or two 'rounds' while everyone else resolves their combat turns. Which can take a few minutes in RL, a few days on PbP, etc. Also you're a sitting duck without them.
Next time you're down on your knees, and you're expecting a slap, it might be me in that mask, and I just might have a bat.

Perception is a pretty important skill to have, especially for an ex-cop.
