>>>>>[If someone's hunting ghouls, losing them in the Aurora Warrens may be more difficult than one may think. Head for the Meat Market. At the very least, there will be other ghouls there who may help if one of their 'own' is being hunted.
There are times when I have collected on bounties on the Infected, either when they get between me and finishing a run, or when it has been a slow month, and I need a little extra for rent, or other expenses. A wendigo still fetches more than my rent for a month. Of course, taking down a wendigo is incredibly difficult. I wouldn't recommend trying to do it solo unless you know what you're doing. They don't like ferrous metals, which means people using steel blades, or even a piece of iron pipe may have an edge. Try to hit them during the day, as well. And Stick-n-Shock ammo does a good job of laying them out, allowing you to make a clean kill by decapitation. Just because you're killing someone for rent doesn't mean you have to make them suffer.
Fortunately, business has been good, so I'm not looking to take stupid chances to keep myself in my comfortable apartment.
Ah, and so Murphy rejoins the land of the living! That's what you get for wrestling with a giant snake all night, boyo. Don't worry, I saw her on the way out, and made sure to give her your contact info. Take some painkillers, and a shot of whiskey if you're sore. Believe me, I know that feeling. Maybe not with a naga, but still. I think my record for 'strange encounters' would be either the technomancer who was into S&M, and insisted on having a master/slave AR overlay going the whole time, or the time I was with three Nadja Daviar clones. THAT was a wild night!
Madre, I look forward to it.]<<<<<
