Who needs any of those things to breach when you have an HE grenade, a detonator cap, some adhesive and 1 rank of Demolitions?

If you're making a door, you might as well make a big one. ;D

heh, a concussion grenade, some duct tape, and 550 cord. the grenade already has a det cap. tape grenade to door handle, tie cord to ring on straightened pin.
Carpe Noctem (seize the night)
Carpe per Diem (seize the pay), Carpe Dentum (seize the teeth), Carpe Denim (seize the pants)
Carpe Panem (seize the bread/capital)

no, i won't "just get over it."

DetCord, how to remove problems really really really fast!  ;D

'Course, I grew up in a mining town, DetCord was sometimes used to "Chop Down" Christmas Trees.  ;D

Okay, real quick, it's "duck" tape, not "duct" tape. It got its name because it's waterproof, referencing "like water off a duck's back".

Secondly... who needs the tape and cord? Use a gecko grenade with a motion-trigger added on. Slap it, activate it, and go. ;)

Then stop thinking small! 5kg of rating 14 explosives... THAT'S a door! :P

Nah. Why waste seven grand on a single explosion when you can use eleven HE grenades and get the same BOOM for a fraction the price? Or spend that same 7,000 to get 200 grenades and make a bomb that will level the whole block?

(Seriously, the price per power of the plastic exposives makes them entirely impractical versus just wiring detonators to grenades and mortars. It's a real flaw in the rules.)

In SR4 the detonator comes with wireless for remote detonation, for those us who like a little more control over when things explode. 8)

It was, but they actually changed the name in the 1950s, and it's been trademarked under both names.

It's duct tape. Early versions used cotton duck as a backing, but that was just one type of duct tape.

It's both. "duck" and "duct" tape are common usage.

And remember to tamp the door breaching charge with a bag of water.

i know a guy whose fave toy is to tamp his shots with expired saline bags,,the prime charge being det cord with several uli knots tied in it, one for each hinge and on for the door knob. knob gets tamped, others are for cutting. done right, the door is disconnected from the frame and shattered into small parts.

Bummer. There was a reason i was asking about this weapon.

The plan was I was thinking about was putting a Exchangeable Weapon Modification on both the underbarrel grenade launcher and underbarrel shotgun.
Next I was going to a powered slide mount  on both the main rifle HK XM30 rifle and  HK XM30 LMG(with bipod) configuration. This was to allow the HK XM30 LMG(minus the bipod) rock with the  underbarrel grenade launcher and allow to put the underbarrel shotgun on the HK XM30 rifle.

Oh well.  :(
Your making this way too complicated, i don't see anything in it rules that would stop you from assembling it so that the LMG has a ub-grenade launcher attached or for example attaching the ub-shotgun to the sniper rifle configuration.

You have to think of the XM30 as basically a Lego gun. You can take it apart and swap out the pieces to make the particular configuration of gun that you want.

Just don't put the wrong pieces together at the wrong time, otherwise you'll end up needing a new shoulder like Wedge.

Luckily, he liked his new shoulder better.
