Um, why don't you just burn edge to Hand Of God and survive?
Because it's just as much about the story, and it's the perfect ending to theirs maybe?

Pretty much this. We're silly like that. ;D

Plus, the guy who did it had to leave for college soon after. That was his last game, and he wanted to go out with a bang.

Ah, well, that makes sense then. ;)

Large transport vehicle? Oh a heaven sent opportunity to mention my undying love for the cartel courier again. It can carry 6 tonnes according to the fluff. Now I just need to decide if semi submersible means it can go a limited depth underwater or its just a boat with a hat. is 6 tons enough space for a nanoforge? 8)

Well, tons aren't a measure of space, so who knows?  :P

Actually it can be. Traveler starships are measured in tons of displaced hydrogen, which is a measure of volume rather than mass.
"When in doubt, C4" - Mythbusters. As true in 2070 as when it was first spoken.

"You're wearing WHAT?" - Group reaction when our street sam walked into a meet wearing light military armour.

Thank you everyone for the suggestions.  The Praire Cat ended up winning out, but knowing this group, that vehicle will probably get destroyed in Chicago.

As for such a large group, it's currently 9 PCs and 2 rotating NPCs (the hackers, one AI one technomancer).  And while combats can be a bit slow going, the overall flow is going pretty well.  It's just a matter of keeping the people at the table on track with the game.
If I took it seriously, I wouldn't use lolcat terminology..

So, herding cats then?  Least, that's the way it is at the tables I play at...and I am usually one of the worst offenders at instigating OOC silliness.

...YES, IT WILL.

Not even accounting what the group is like, that Prairie Cat is doomed. You're talking about bringing a ROLLS ROYCE LUXURY VEHICLE into Chicago. I expect (and am hoping for future stories of) a lot of wacky hijinks involving the locals trying to steal the transport and bringing it to one of the factions that controls part of the city.
