I need help locating what sourcebook I need to get in order to find information on the following:

As I understand it, some shadowrunners in the SR  world live stream their runs for entertainment purposes, or at least so I've heard.

A GM I used to know mentioned something about this phenomenon in passing, and I wanted to know if he was just making all this up, or if this is actually a 'thing' in the SR world.   

If it helps, I seem to recall he'd mentioned it was more prevalent in Los Angeles.


  Our player group is planning on having some fun trying to be celebrity shadowrunners.  It may not be good for our life expectancy but it'll be a blast while it lasts

My advice? Have a public and private 'look'. Have one of those 'looks' be a disguise, either in form of a mask or a spell. Personally, I'd go with a simple disguise for your 'private' persona. Tie the hair back, put on some glasses, change the color of your clothes, and other such things. And have an agent blur faces in your feed, so you don't go revealing your contacts to the world.

Your best bet is Corporate Enclaves, which has a big section on LA. There may be additional info in Attitude, as well.

This is the brilliance of LA.  LA is a bunch of die-hard black trenchcoat OPSEC junkies pretending to be pink mohawkers so that the work keeps coming.  Rather than the fake ID they use to rent their condo and their actual identity, they have to juggle the fake ID for "real life", the fake "P2.0 Shadowrunner" ID, and their actual identity, which also has to have its own rep, since I can't imagine why you wouldn't rotate your pink mohawks just as often as you rotate your fake SINs.

Also, the live feeds have a delay of a few seconds or even up to a minute, I recall reading. That way, corpsec doesn't know exactly where you are.

No, they can have a delay. But you need to negotiate that, if you're not on your own feed.
