With the word from Fionn that theIr concealment was in jeopardy, Clem was quite happy that there was less than a mile to leaving Martell’s property.  When she bounced up onto a seriously overgrown stretch of northbound black top, she was able to get them out in less than a minute.  Everyone in the car did note the cameras on the border tracking them out.
 
When they reached the location of the coordinates, they were momentarily panicked to find an empty lot, but Matty called them over and brought them through the concealed passage in the junk to reunite the team once again and expose the rest to means of their return to the Emerald City.

After checking the time and seeing the condition of The Ghost, O'Connor dejectedly believes Clem will never collect the hundred he now owes her, since he is pretty sure that bird is never going to make it to Seattle.  But then he takes a closer look.

A Hispanic elf is not that big a deal (memorable, but not a big deal), but when you hear that the helicopter is called The Ghost you remember some street rumors from when you were a kid about an antique that no one could track, like it was a spirit or something.

"That's the idea, ese." Jesus puffs a little at the recognition, "She is whisper quiet and stacked with ECM.  I have made runs crossing the gates at I-5, right next to Lewis and never got painted."

"So what's your secret? Is it that she's so old, modern tech and pilots can't comprehend that she's even flying? Or does the rust mask her from radar?", O'Connor asked, sarcasm dripping from his voice.

"Trade Secret ese, and all of the above."  Jesus grins as turn back to Torley, "So Pimp-Daddy, how bout that scratch?  You got my bonafides now."

Fionn got out of the Jeep and half-staggered his way over to the rest of the group, took a quick read on the pilot, and greeted the other half of the group.  "Hey, guys.  Hope we didn't keep you waiting too long."

Clementine, sure they would make it in time, got out of the Jeep and, after seeing O'Connor checking the commlink and throwing it on the ground, gave him a victorious look without saying anything else. She knew she had won the bet, but more importantly she knew he had lost. She'd collect her winnings later she decided.

Approaching the rest of the group, she said "I hope Blackeagle won't mind us leaving his Jeep here. When are we leaving?"

Fionn's posture straightened as the Fading healed. "Thanks - not completely there, but hopefully we can get ahold of a decent medkit when we land.  Now then, I think we'd all like to get underway."

When you mention name Blackeagle, Jesus visibly takes note, "Jayson Blackeagle?  Weird ass Coyote shaman?  He's still kicking around?"
