Clementine woke up to the sound of Heron walking around the cabin, talking to some spirits. He then went to the kitchen to bang on some pots and announce "So who wants to make me and Sammy some breakfast?"

Clem raised her eyebrows exasperatedly to all the commotion Heron was going through the trouble of creating. She got up, tidied the area where she had slept and decided to get a drink of water. Leaning on the wall with a glass of water in her hand, thinking to herself "or poisonned" in reaction to O'Connor's "I doubt any of ya is gonna want me to handle breakfast, unless you all like your food burnt all to hell," she said to Heron and Sammy "I'll help JC with breakfast" and started looking around the "kitchen" for something to eat.

"So this building is 200 km away from here? We should get going after breakfast then. I'll drive if nobody opposes it, and one of you can tell me where to go."

Still chewing on some beans he had left to soak after sorting through the food stocks in the night, Ikari listened to the beginnings of a day plan coming together while the group awoke. "I'll pass on the burnt offering, thanks."

"If we take our time in Yakima, and find a safe, cache or gunstore with biometric security ... I just need to know who has access. Swiping credsticks or scrip would be easier, but people could get suspicious pretty fast while we try to muster enough to matter," he said in response to Fionn's musings.

"Might be we can combine our talents and be bloody well invisible.  You can do a lot by tricking a machine into thinking you're someone else."

[Necrogigas]

O'Connor stood with the rifle in hand, and placed the box of ammo in his pocket, "I'll leave the plannin' to you guys then, maim and murder are just 'bout the only things I can plan. I'm gonna walk the perimeter for a bit, 'case something shows up. Lemme know when foods ready." With that he left the cabin, his circuit set about halfway between the cabin and the treeline.

Fionn set about boiling some water to make coffee.  "Can't cook much, but I can damn sure brew some delicious, delicious caffeine.  Once spent a week on nothing but coffee and Guinness..."

As O'Connor walks his circuit, his eyes on the trees, he occaisionally feels the need to check his footing on the uneven ground.  After getting about halfway around the back of the cabin, he looks down to step over a divot and notices a familiar pair of moccasin boots walking next to his inside his patrol arc.

O'Connor was unable to contain his surprise. He jumped back and got halfway through leveling the rifle before he recognized the old man, "Jesus fuck, dude! It ain't the smartest idea in the world to sneak up on a guy with a gun, unless you're gonna kill him of course."

[Thvor]

Sam smiled at Icarus. "You want to know who's who? I can do that for you, no problem. Give me an hour, I'll tell you all the important people in the town; a bit more time, and I'll be able to tell you their dirty secrets, too."

[Crossbow]

"Hell, I used to that all the time, it's a lot more fun to let them know you're there."  Jayson eyes O'Connor critically, "I forgot I packed that shirt.  My mother-in-law gave me that shirt, feel free to get it bloody and give it a decent burial when you get home."  Looking over the cabin, the Amerind asks conversationally, "Everybody make the jog okay?  Get a good night's sleep?"

[Necrogigas]

"Yeah, we all got here in one piece. The mages and tech-wiz were doin' some of their mojo b.s. all damn night, but other than that, yeah we're all good."

[Crossbow]

"And you're out here.......doing what exactly?"

[Necrogigas]

"Walking the perimeter, and playing Twenty Questions apparently."

[Crossbow]

"Animal, Mineral or Vegetable?"

We might even be lucky enough to not run into a padlock in this forsaken backwater. Ikari smiled as he pushed the thought to the back of his mind.

"So are we hitting Yakima first, or this Tacoma place that could still have someone's gear once we get there? Or are they the same area?" he continued, oblivious to the return of their Amerind patron.

"Dude, even I know Tacoma's part of the Metroplex.  That just gives us an idea on where to go once we get back into Seattle.  Still have to hit Yakima before we have a chance of managing that."  Fionn finished getting the coffee ready, and poked his head out the door.  "Coffee's ready.  Get it before I drink it all."
