An unusual looking individual walks into the diner. He is a heavyset Anglo, which is enough to mark him out of the ordinary in a land of healthy Amerinds, but his every action seems to radiate “I’M FAAAABULOUS!!!” with all included exclamation points, even the simple act of opening the door and walking to the counter.
His look is the closest thing to fashionable you have seen in this town, and it surpasses some of the bleeding edge styles that are floating around the Club Scene back in the Metroplex. His heavy Mutton chop mustachios and hair are perfectly coifed, and he even has the latest in holojewel accents, stuff that hasn’t even made the jump to a fashion backwoods like Seattle.
Even before the cook’s greeting you can only assume this to be Rudy’s fiancé Liam, the two exchange a few words before Rudy brings him to the table, looking for all the world like an ambassador handling introductions between two heads of state.
“Samantha Delavine, this is Liam Starcross, theatre extraordinaire and love of my life. Liam, you of course know Samantha.” Rudy beams, not quite sure who to look at. Liam graciously greets your resident media star and leans in close for a private word before taking a seat and moving it next to her at the table, his eyes for her alone.
