Fionn made some quick configuration changes on the commlinks.  "Alright.  Just in case, I've rigged these things to activate the mic and video feeds if you push this button on the side here."  He pointed it out.  "I'm gonna keep the feeds open, so if you hit that I'll hear and see what's going on immediately.  In the absence of a DNI, it gives you a good and subtle way to call for backup if you have to."  He got in the truck.  "If I can find a central log of who's where, I could put a map together.  Alternatively, I could try to tap into their communications, but that would be quite a bit less reliable.  I'll need a bit of time first, though - would help if we could mask the vehicle somehow...  Got anything for that, Heron?"

"Hey, wait a second," Sammy said to O'Connor as he started to walk out, "I still have to change your hair colour and hair lenght.  It only takes a few seconds.  What colour do you want?"

O'Connor turned back to Sammy, "Make me bald. It's a bad idea for fighters to have hair longer than mine is right now. In a fight, your opponent can get a hold of it, and then you're in for a world of hurt."

"Can your spell grow facial hair?  Might be useful if we're looking to avoid recognition; conceals the jawline and all."

"I can only do things like they do in beauty salons," Sammy said, "I have another spell that can do that, or at least give the impression, but that's a sustaining spell, meaning you have to stay in my line of sight or it would stop."

She continued to work, starting by making O'Connor bald.  That was actually the easiest and it would grow back after a while, just as normal hair would do.

Satisfied that no one was going to set off a bomb--or even call in a bomb threat--and draw unnecessary attention to the group, Sam selected the best of the suits he could find and went to get changed. On his way to the changing room, he noticed a couple of walking sticks. A shiny one caught his attention, but he quickly decided that it was simply too gaudy; the other was less flashy, but seemed to be a much better fit for the persona he was going to portray. He grabbed it and got dressed, checking his appearance in the mirror before rejoining the others. That's more like it. Not quite back to normal, but a hell of a lot better than the lumberjack look, he thought to himself. Satisfied, he nodded to his reflection and went back out to the main stage area.

Liam returns from a trip up to his loft wearing an apron bearing the boast "All of this....And I can COOK TOO!".  He nods approvingly at the changes that people are making to their appearance.  Looking at Torley he nods "The visitor from Philly, 'California Suite', we did that 3 summers ago, very good choice.  Did you put your clothes in the same spot?  We might be doing 'Seven Brides for Seven Brothers' next year, so they won't go to waste."  Then he moves back to Sammy's side.

"This is all SO exiting!  Do you have a plan yet dear?  I just need to know how many will be staying for dinner, no details, I would break if I was interrogated by the coppers."  He laughs at his little joke.

Everyone has pretty much gathered to hear the answer, Matty accompanying Icarus from seating and Rudy and Melissa dusting off their hands and walking over from the sets, curious.

"Maybe we should just go with black - anything else might look strange with my skin tone.  Outside of that, so long as you keep it long enough that I can cover up my ears should the need arise, I'll be fine.  You can change it back to its natural colour later, right?"  He let her do her work and went to find some alternate clothes and a hat to go with it.  Concealing the hairline might help...

While he was looking he made a quick aside comment to Torley.  "Look, if we're heading out into the wilderness again it wouldn't hurt to have some supplies.  Might be one of these two is a bit of the outdoorsy type - hell, could even be a shotgun around or something; given our past experience with the local wildlife that'd be handy as hell.  But we'd need some way of asking about that which doesn't give away the plan, some kind of disinformation or something.  Can you think of anything?"

Once Sammy finished her spell, O'Connor joined Clem in the Jeep. Through the windshield, he watched everyone else gather on the stage, "Oh god dammit. Do these people do anything but talk?"

Clementine turned to O'Connor and said, "Yeah, they sometimes snoop" with a giggle.

Sam looked at the elf briefly. "Good thinking. I'll see what I can do; these guys trust me."

Wandering over to Liam, Sam glanced around to make sure no one else was listening, and said quietly, "Ok, let's level. You're right, we're not here for a film. I'm afraid I can't tell you more, of course, but I can assure you we're not trying to cause trouble out here. Hell, it wasn't even our choice to come here in the first place. From what you said, it sounds like someone's pulling strings with the law to...cause us more trouble." Sam couldn't resist the urge to fudge the facts slightly for a more favorable response. "So, some of us are going to have to disappear for a while, try to buy us some more time to do what we need to. Anything you can do to help--supplies, weapons, whatever--will be greatly appreciated, and I promise you'll be rewarded. Hell, it can't hurt to be on first-name basis with Ms. Delavine, can it?" Sam smiled widely.

"Well dear, you have already been helping yourself to clothes, which is perfectly fine, but I really don't have much else to offer.  Our car is in the shop and I don't much like guns, but you are welcome to stay here as long as you need.  Even if the Bear comes looking for you here there are plenty of places to hide you, but I don't think it will come to all that."  Liam does a quick head count of those not looking like they are leaving right away and heads back up to the loft kitchen.

At this point Matty comes over to Torley, "Not to speak out of turn, but if we get to the meet with the coyote and he wants to leave straight away, what are we supposed to do?  Regardless I am not sure there will be time to get back here and then go to whatever pick up site he names.  Most of the runs are further north and west.  Anyone taking the ride to Seattle should probably go with us to the meet, ... unless you weren't planning to bring the whole group...?"

O'Connor smiled despite himself, "Heh. Yeah, there's that." Seeing as how the others were going to take a bit of time, he grabbed the pad and pencil out of the glove box. He quickly jotted down a message, Can't ignore Red, need to know why snooping. Once in woods, bring Icarus into fold, confront Red. Y/N?
