So, I'm pretty much just filing this character away for later use (had the idea after reading a thread here, like the feel of the character now).  Still, would like to know if there's any changes I should be making before I do so.

If you're doing Glamour as an elf, I'd suggest go Dryad.

With the same attribute stats, you have the same number of BPs left, and haven't burned any of your PQs.

Dryad's 45 BP, and suffers from Symbiosis.  SURGE II is 10 BP, and allows me not to have to worry about that, and have the spare 5BP.

Symbiosis really shouldn't be too negative as long as you maintain a decent lifestyle (technically you could probably even squat in the woods or something and be fine(no pun intended)).

But either way it doesn't make much of a difference I guess, less you wanted more PQs squeezed in.

Neighborhood is where I skimp on lifestyle, but I generally take at least High on Security.

Ah, I didn't pay that much attention to that.

I always go medium or high for the most part, unless its a one shot mission and I really can't afford to splurge just a tad. (My Face/Sniper picked up the Trust Fund II just for a nice pad, and it fit his style)

Generally what I get on Neighborhood too, though I generally put Comforts there as well with Necessities and Entertainment being generally Middle (already said my preference on Security, though some times I'll go full bore there).

I'd recommend swapping 2 points from your LOG into your CHA (get Cerebral Boosters instead - 6 BP for Lv III, you only have 1 LOG skill and you'll net a bunch of Karma down the road by raising your CHA now - 30 to be exact), and 1 from your INT into your REA, you'll improve your Passive Dodge instead of your Perception, plus net 5 Karma, which brings me to my next item; you have no Perception skill, might consider re-considering that.

From a Karma efficiency stand-point, you should split your Pistols and Blades into a 6/4 allotment and drop the specializations until after Chargen.

Overall though, nice character, Face/Shooter is my favorite type to play.

The Intuition is there for the sake of things like Judge Intentions (this is, after all, a gambler), though the Charisma boost would take care of that - issue is, I have every intention, should I get to actually play this character at some point, of adding some more Logic skills as an early Karma investment (Armorer and First Aid at the very least, possibly a few others depending on the campaign).  Plus, a Rating 2 or 3 Booster is a pretty expensive addition.  Add to that the fact that it would mean the character needs a pretty expensive piece of bioware to be of even average intelligence...  I get that it works well from an efficiency standpoint, but it doesn't help that I can't fit the money in for it that easily.

I guess I can get the points for the Charisma from Willpower and Strength, though that breaks the rule about odd-numbered Willpower...

And if I drop the specializations, I am working with smaller pools for combat.  I guess it's the question of if I'd rather have the character work as a Face first and Sam second, or the other way around.

Yes, but that could easily have been a parental decision or something.  I mean, how long have those been around, anyways?

That said, I think it's probably best to measure a character's intelligence by the sum of their Logic and Intuition, with a combined 6 being average.

The difference between 3 & 4 Intuition, fluff-wise, is pretty much indeterminable through role-play, especially if it's the Judge Intentions you're worried about if you raise your CHA. Admittedly the lowered LOG would be a significant alteration to the character, but even dropping it one point, and getting a level 2 Cerebral Booster, would allow you to boost your CHA 1, you'll still save some Karma at least and have better LOG pools out of the gate. If you intend to get more LOG skills later, that's just more reason to start it lower and raise your LOG later too. Aren't Cerebral Boosters something you'd get down the road anyway if you're gonna focus more on LOG? You realize it would cost you just 25 Karma to put it back at Average from 1, that's what, 3 sessions at most? If you followed the rest of my advice, that's about all you'd NEED to spend Karma on initially anyway. Your Face pools would be literally Legen-wait for it-dary, your Pistols pool would be world-renowned, Blades would be (quite a bit) more than adequate.

IMO, really, it comes down to; acknowledge the flawed system of BP-Chargen and learn to beat it without affecting your RP, or let that flawed system cost you time and Karma.
