@Serge - It was a long day at the clinic and you stayed late doing inventory. As you are about to head home a mage manifests in your shop. She seems fragile, having seen manifested mages before, he can say that she looks pale and more transparent then usual. She say:
“Can you help me doctor Feron?... I was terribly wounded and cannot move, I am not very far from here. There should be another mage on the way, I can pay handsomely but I need to get medical treatment in the next hours.”

@Serge - It was a long day at the clinic and you stayed late doing inventory. As you are about to head home a mage manifests in your shop saying. She seems fragile, her aura is faint and from what you can assense her medical condition is very bad.
“Can you help me doctor Feron?... I was terribly wounded and cannot move, I am not very far from here. There should be another mage on the way, I can pay handsomely but I need to get medical treatment in the next hours.”
Looking up from his paperwork as the magician manifests, Dr. Feron notes the condition and levers himself from his chair and says, "Of course. Quite the dramatic entrance you made. So, what symptoms and/or injuries should I be expecting and where is your body located?"

Maxwell lets out a ragged cough as he scans over the text. Eyeing the words "military grade anti vehicle missile" doesn't fill him with any sort of dread or anxiety. "It seems the gangs are growing more bold lately," as he mumbles to himself. "Well I got nothing better to do, might as well and go see what this is all about." And on that note Maxwell walks out of his apartment to his new assignment. At the very least he now has a reason to stretch his legs.

I was hit with biofeedback damage, as I was jumped into the car when it exploded. Luckily I was in cold sim but the damage is so extensive that I am heavily bleeding. I am speaking to you because I had a medical drone scripted to apply a stim-patch to me so but I do not have much time left... I should be in my body once the chemicals are out - but if I approach the area I'll have to astrally fight and I am in no condition to do that.
Look guys - I know it is dangerous, but I really need your help right now. I can pay 5k a head - and you get the advantage of knowing where I was."

The doctor hefts a medical kit backpack and slips his arms through the shoulder straps, "I'll see what I can do." With that, he rushes out to his Hyundai to start off down the highway trying to find some sign of heavy weapons fire.
En route, he picks up his commlink and hits the speed dial for Bruiser--the gang boss should be made aware that Yaks were shooting heavy grade weaponry off near the turf he'd been keeping secure.

Couple of kilometers down the road you can clearly spot a burned down bulldog van. You can also spot several eastern looking people that are searching trees around the van. The spot that the mage told you about is actually the second floor of a pub called the Joke about half a kilometer from the van.

@Serge, as you slip to the back you notice the Orc, he is talking into a barely dressed elven lady that vanishes as soon as she spot the goons with their ‘prisoner’.

Maxwell's situation just went from bad to worse, a known black mage is going to have a hard time explaining why he's prowling around in the middle of the night. Almost like a barbie doll. Her red dress does not leave much to the imagination and it is difficult not to be distracted by her outfit. "It seems like you are my prisoner tonight, my Name is Strawberry. Nice to meet you Max." She smiles at you and giggles. "Lets go drinking" she say.

@Sovereign- Strawberry grabs your hand and leads you to the club. It is a small one, filled with Yaks at gang colors but not only Yaks all kind of people enjoy the Joke. Strawberry seems like the most attractive woman in that club, perhaps a grade higher than the rest of the folk. There is live Jazz music and Strawberry keeps the conversation pleasant and your glass always full.
You already feel the alcohol affecting you and perhaps something stronger than the alcohol (but you can not be sure as she is a very attractive woman) when she places her hand on your thigh and softly say “You did not come to my club for drinks did you? I never saw you in here before.”
@Serge - As you start searching the vegetation behind the club you notice a wet puddle. It hasn't rained lately, carefully touching the puddle you are certain that it is blood. You cannot see her, but you are certain that the lady you seek is somewhere on that tree.

Things were going faster than Maxwell had anticipated. Moments ago you were outside sneaking around with that street doc. And before that you remember being contacted by Joe to help some mage deal with yakuza or something. Now I'm being corralled into what's most likely a trap while being no closer to my goal. "Did I just offer to whack someone for sex!" "The Black Knight is probably just shaking his head at me in disappointment." While rethinking the situation and his blunders Maxwell says: "It'd be my pleasure." Hopefully this won't end in blood and fire as Maxwell originally wanted.

Scantly dressed and hits on a stranger. Good looks that stand out even in a crowd. Night deals with gangers. "A Black Mage." Maxwell felt genuine distress over the realization that Strawberry might be another Black Mage. With only one way to find out he has to switch to his third eye to see if she lights up like a beacon. Meanwhile Maxwell tries to come up with some conversation to keep her entertained: "Oh you know only when the mood feels right...and when I see pretty girl I like."

@Sovereign You are skilled enough to assense Strawberry despite your physical condition. Strawberry is clearly awakened. Her general emotional state is calm and she seem happy and is genuinely enjoying herself. Her aura seems complete, you spot no cyberware or any kind of augmentation on her aura. You will definitely be able to recognise her aura should you assense her in the future.
Once you finally assense her you can sense how her aura fills with joy - apperantly she was astrally sensing you for a while now.

Going over what Strawberry said started to make sense the more thought he put into. Pacing around tying to decide what the best course of action would be, Maxwell stops mid step. A hilarious thought crossed his mind and a crooked smiled appeared over his gaunt face. Maxwell then turned to Strawberry with that jagged smile still on and spoke: "For a slight fee I could speed up the process of "removing" Venom from control." "And I can do this without killing him as well." "But I need to know if their will be any magical interference before I do so."

Now the smile drops from Maxwell's face as the sudden realization that Strawberry might not be as powerful as he originally hoped. "This Joke pub is appropriately named." Mild depression began to sink in and that vigor he was feeling earlier is now gone. "Sovereign - Lord of the Battlefield, more like Lord of the Morons." Maxwell then flatly speaks: "Look if you could uhh pay me back my bar tab I can work some actual MAGIC and get that Venom jackoff fired."

@Sovereign She smiles at you as if you are a little boy, and say nothing. After an awkward silence she say"I am going to take a bath- there are wonderful water here..." You notice that she bluntly ignores the thought of giving you the money back. If you think about it for a moment, most of this money does not even go to her pocket. She is clearly in bed with the Yaks, and refuse to openly betray Venom even she really hate the guy. She turns her back to you and with a couple of quick moves her dress drops down is if the thing was not even connected. Without looking at you she enters the bath and you find yourself delaying for longer than you wanted on her perfect ass.

"Maybe I can still salvage this run, assuming that chop doc didn't leave me here." Maxwell notices the window that Strawberry mentioned and decides his best bet is to leave and try to reconvene with his phantom partner. Lazily walking over to the window Maxwell opens it and hops through it onto the grounds below.

@Serge - As you start searching the vegetation behind the club you notice a wet puddle. It hasn't rained lately, carefully touching the puddle you are certain that it is blood. You cannot see her, but you are certain that the lady you seek is somewhere on that tree.
After finding the 'puddle' of blood, Serge starts looking around the tree trying to locate the woman's body and, if located, a safe method of getting her down for first aid treatment.

@Sovereign you hear a soft whisper "Strawberry... get you ass over here." when you lift you head you can see Venom. He now looks a bit upset saying "Well sexing him up did not work he is trying to escape. Get out of the darn bath".
You can see that Venom and some other person are running toward you.
@Serge, she somehow managed to place herself about 8 meters off the ground on one of the tall branches. You'll have to climb up to get her. You also notice that Venom started running, but not toward you and you cannot miss the fact that someone just jumped of the second floors window.

On locating the woman's bleeding, unconscious form and noticing the individual running, the doctor immediately sets his priorities to the unconscious woman and begins attempting the climb the tree to recover her.
Not positive, but I think Gymnastics handles climbing.

@Big guns, climbing is difficult but after several minutes of hard work you find yourself near the body at the top branches. It's life signs are weak and it is still losing blood.
@Max - Venom grabs you with all his might, you quickly find yourself crushed to ground by the sheer weight of the orc unable to move.

With the bulk of the ork and the might of his strength slamming into you. Maxwell finds himself in desperate need of his elemental servant right about now. "INFERNO!!! COME TO ME AND KILL THIS DREKHEAD."

As the Orc is crushing max, Max's armor begins to glow and spits fire that envelope the Orc. Max is surprised that his armor can do this kind of feat and is even more surprised where the fire only seem to make Venom more angry. Venom tighten his grip trying to suffocate Max.
Max cannot see it, but behind them Inferno materializes as a large vortex of fire, without thinking about it he envelops the goon and leaves nothing but scorched ashes from him. As Inferno approaches Venom, he is a bit confused, his fire aura is so strong that it will also kill its summoner. Max is in pain, struggling to keep consciousnesses he knows that if he passes out, Inferno goes free.

Inferno was bound by magic to do the service he was requested, and no matter how he interperated the term 'drek-head' it had to include Venom. Killing the orc was not a difficult task for Inferno, all he had to do is approach and envelope the orc with his fire aura. So he did just that, reluctantly but unable to object the very specific phrasing of Max's service.

"SCARE HIM AWAY!" With the help from Inferno's Fear power his neck is finally released from Venom's stranglehold and Maxwell begins to inhale as much oxygen into his lungs as possible, wildly coughing at the same time too. Maxwell staggers around trying to regain his bearings and pretend that he wasn't just blitzkrieged by an irate ork. Dusting off his jacket he looks around and notices the pile of ash that used to be Goon #6 or #11. "Good work Inferno but don't try to incinerate me next time." His body aches all over due to Venom's onslaught and he feels extraordinarily lightheaded. Struggling to remember other key features about the fight only made his head feel worse. "Wait... was that bitch... casting spells on me?" Maxwell remembers that his jacket glowed and bursted in flames during the battle if it could even be called a battle. "Maybe she did save my life before and it wasn't a trick." Turning his head to look at the bar and the scared yakuza inside. Doing his best to determine if he was very fortunate that this is how it all turned out or if he has another train wreck to look forward to. Maxwell shrugs and lets out another raspy cough. Maxwell mumbles: "Still alive so the Black Knight probably still favors me." Without anymore delay Maxwell shoves his hands into his jacket pockets and walks off to find his phantom partner.

Once up in the tree with the body, the doctor notes the fading condition and, instead of risking getting her down first, carefully balances himself and maneuvers his medical kit around to begin applying aid.

@Serge, her life signs seem to stabilize and you manage to stop the bleeding. She is in no imminent danger now, but still require some long term treatment for infection and other complications.

Once she's stabilized, Serge breathes a sigh of relief before packing away the medical kit and maneuvering around to try and get the woman into a 'fireman's carry' position before starting the climb back down the tree.

"And I could always summon another elemental if needed." The thought of getting another chance to exercise his magical power refuels Maxwell with mad energy. A crooked smile appears on Maxwell's lips as he tells Serge: "I just got word that there is an ambush party waiting for us at our car, so prepare for a fight."

You approach the car looking for an ambush, checking every every sense, you are on full alert but the more you look for it you spot no ambush near your car. The only thing that changed since you arrived is that there is now a red ford parked about 200 meters from your own car.

Gently setting the unconscious woman down, leaning her against an old mailbox, Serge says, "Got any long range tricks to blow that Ford? That wasn't there before, so that should be the source of the ambush, and my Predator doesn't quite cut the mustard for that range."

"Yeah I got one." Being too fatigued to cast even a minor Fireball spell, Maxwell calls upon his servant. "Inferno destroy that ford car."

Inferno materialize in his blazing glory, and happily makes his way toward the car. As he does that the red ford starts racing toward you, funny thing is it doesn't seem to have anyone driving it.

Then the everything wen't to shit, without warning two rotor drones take off from under the racing ford. They cover you with rain of lead as the ford is racing toward you. Inferno, blast the car with his massive flamethrower attack, but the car is too fast for him and just drive through the flamethrower, Inferno does not manage to damage it.
So the situation you face is like that: There is a murderous car racing toward you, two roto drones that rain you with lead trying to keep you pinned to the ground. There is the unconscious body of IT just laying there completely unaware to the danger.

Following up on his command, Inferno strikes the car a second time. This time the blow connects properly and the car catches fire, but it doesn't destroy it. Conjuring up his magical might, Maxwell slings a firebolt at one of the drones. The spells hits its target and the drone explodes in fiery debris. "THAS WASSUP."

The other drones shoots again and the medic is down to the floor, he'll be out for a couple of hours. Inferno tries to burn the car again and is still unlucky, Poor max was not fast enough to doge the car, but as the car ram him over his jacket glows again and splash some extra fire on the car that in its own turn explodes. That is some special jacket he has there... Perhaps, Strawberry was serious about saving his life. Either that or he has the coolest Jacket ever!

Maxwell launches another stream of fire at the other drone. The blast hits with searing power but it doesn't break. The drone tries to disengage but fails as Inferno throws out a bolt of fire as well, causing it to explode. "It seems the Black Knight favors me today." Remembering that his jacket glowed with power and flame, causes Maxwell to think about Strawberry as well. After a few thoughts and bloody coughs, Maxwell whispers in a hoarse voice: "Thanks Strawberry."

Bloodied, bruised, tired and sore Maxwell walks over to the unconscious woman and picks her up. He then takes her to the Doc's car and places her safely in the back. Letting out another painful cough, Maxwell shambles over to his partner's body and does his best to "carry" him to the passenger side seat. With as much haste that Maxwell can summon, he staggers to the drivers side and sits down in the car. Maxwell then punches in the directions to the street doc's clinic and lets the autopilot take over. "I did want blood and glory, just wish it's not my blood next time."

The car has its tires slashed, the basterds. It takes it a while to take the car to the clinic even though it is no more than 3 km. One thing you are happy is that nobody is watching you as the car cannot go over 20km/h without some serious safety issues, but you continue with your way and after a short and tense ride you are there. Once you approach the clinic IT seeing her body from the astral finally return to her body, it has been long and she seemed a bit drained from what have happened to her.
She looks at you and seem so fragile, you can hardly imagine her as a tough runner. How come Venom is so hostile towards her remain a mystery to you. It takes her a short while before she can seat, and you can feel the clumsiness in her moves. “Thank you to say, you look in bad shape, do not worry I can help, I am skilled with both mundane and magical healing.
She skillfully patches Max, as he seem to be the more urgent case, and you can sense that she is very skilled with the medic kit. When she is done, with the medic kit Maxwell is a lot better. From being nearly dead he went in about a minute to almost unhurt. Where the medic kit replaces his blood with artificial temporary blood cells reconstruct tissues and attach it to damaged internal organs and stuff that you could never imagine doing with a medic kit. If the doctor was conscious he’d appreciate her skill. She then smiles a big smile, a smile that seem to be the only thing that actually give her power to move her barely functioning husk she call body, it is sluggish and small and weak. As she smile you can feel that what’s left of your wounds is closing, Max is completely healed.

Now to the sleeping doctor that so skillfully patched me up. She say, and applies her medic kit at work. She did manage to get him to take up, but he’ll need a good night sleep before he can really function. She follow again with her charming smile to fix what little damage he still have.

Then a little embarrassed she said, “I guess I owe you some money, I’ll authorize a transaction once I am at home... Somehow I feel that Money alone is not enough for the services you just provided me. Max, whenever you need some magical mentoring, or instruction I will help you I promise that. ”
This means that Max will pay 1 less karma on his first initiation. IT will also help him learn spells that she knows (mainly health magic) so that it take less time to learn.

If you bring your car to IT shop you can pick car augmentations up to a value of 5k and IT will do it for you free of charge.
She tries to stand, it takes an effort and leaning on the wall but she does.
"It was really a pleasure and you both have gone out of your way to save my life. You never argued with me on your wages, and I could never thank you enough. If you ever need help, anywhere, at any hour, no matter what the problem is - call me and I’ll do anything I can to get you out of it. I owe you one fat favor."
“One last question... I know that my bulldog van was destroyed by a missile, but have you seen my Red ford and two roto drones? They appear to be out of range.”

Dipping into the small stock of real, non-soy/krill, food, Serge starts preparing a meal for the assembled people.

IT seats and watches you cook. You all have a very pleasant dinner that make you feel a bit better about the run you just experienced. Shortly after IT leaves to a taxi. Her last words to the taxi driver are "Ares building, downtown". You do not normally deal with cooperate suits, and these words has you wondering. You have never met a suit that really looked you in the eye. But if IT can really access Ares building at this hour. She must be directly on their pay roll, she is a cooperate suit. You two are left wondering why did she ask you for a rescue if she could just call some Ares muscle to do it.
