Not to mention that they can run more than that list, by official clarification. So I'd imagine they can run all cyberprograms.
How am I not part of the forum?? O_O I am both active and angry!

...By the way, one correction I'd offer to your earlier summary Xenon:

If a rigger want to control the vehicle while physically inside the vehicle (by manual control or by jumping in through a direct connection) then the vehicle can be wireless OFF (or ON). If the vehicle is wireless OFF then the vehicle does not have a matrix icon that can be attacked from the matrix.

Would just add that Direct Connection can be used for for jumping-in or Remote Control (i.e. Control Device action) as well even while wireless is OFF.
I already listed manual control and jump-in with direct connection...
But yes, you are correct. You can also use remote control while having a direct connection.
Thank you.

A couple other thoughts:
The Firewall and Data Processing ratings of a vehicle is equal to the vehicle's device rating table at p. 234
My reading of the rules is that a Vehicle's Device Rating is equal to its Pilot Rating
The table give rating 3 for security and 4 for military
Security vehicles have rating 3 pilot and military have rating 4.
Same same.
It differ on a few places, but I have no problem at all using pilot rating as device rating.
(note that text on 269 only mentions drones. using it on other vehicles will be an assumption).
But, thanks again :)

Depending on your reading RCC can also run cyberprograms (such as Firewall, Guard and Shell).
Don't know how this depends on reading ...
Yes, it is clear that you can run cyberprograms on your RCC.
You are correct.

I was thinking about an old discussion about sharing.
It is not (or at least it wasn't) clear if you could share cyberprograms with your drones (and if so how many).

...and when going through cyberprograms i found programs that give bonus to sleaze attribute (exploit and stealth) and started to thinking about if you could use them to hack with an RCC. Can a RCC run a cyberprogram that offer you an attribute it does not have to begin with? (If so it open up some interesting things... Like: can you run Decryption on your RCC and share the attack rating with your drones and then use your drones Electronic Warefare to create a mobile jamming device with a 100 meter radius?)

I later decided to move that part of my thought process to the FAQ thread instead, but the "depending on your reading" remained... Should have removed that too.

Not 100% on topic but it might carry some relevance to some of you:

To access and interact with Virtual Reality you need Direct Neural Interface (DNI) and a sim-module.
You can access and interact with Augmented Reality (AR) if you have an Image Link (in an imaging device or in eyes/cybereyes).

Q Do you need sim-module to access and interact with AR if you have DNI (and no Image Link)?

Nope. You can see and hear with just DNI, and you get the rest of the senses with a sim module.
