In Run&Gun p.33 you could read that the Savalette Guardian could only shoot in burst fire at the expance of a complexe action

that pretty absurd to have this feature when every Pistol with Semi-Automatic capability is able to do a Semi-Auto Burst at the expance of a Complexe action for the same effect

so what's the point in buying a Savalette Guardian other than brand recognition ?

Prior to the errata that was released for Run and Gun, the benefit of the Complex Action BF mode was being able to use a Long Burst (which requires a weapon with BF mode and a Complex Action).

After the errata was released, the Complex action requirement was removed from the weapon.

No, it has normal burst fire, meaning it can do it on a simple action

Semi-auto weapons can only fire a 3 round burst.

SS Pistols fire one round only as a simple action and resets recoil before their next shot.

SA Pistols fire one round as a simple action, or three rounds as a complex action. Recoil builds until reset with a non-attack acction.

SA/BF Pistols act the same as SA pistols in SA mode. In BF mode they fire three rounds as a simple action, or six rounds as a complex action. Recoils builds until reset with a non-attack action.

The errata does not say that the Savalette Guardian and the Fichetti Executive are SA/BF weapons, it says that they can fire burst with a simple action.
Say otherwise, they can fire 1 or 3 rounds with a simple action, but they still cannot fire 6 rounds with a complex action as they are not real BF weapons.
