I figured one or both might be in there, but I'm very hesitant to pick it up because it seems like stats don't translate well enough, especially when it comes to skills, across editions. That's no biggie tho, I can just stat them myself.
I kind of have pegged as one of the world's top hackers, but because of a balanced focus and creativity than because of an abundance of raw numbers in in particular skill, so was leaning towards giving him 7s and 8s in all of the hacking and computer skills (as opposed to Pax, who specializes in cybercombat and software). The way he talks about deeper mysteries of the Matrix and of Resonance gives of a very submerged vibe, so I was going to put him at 4 when it came to subermsion grade (though not necessarily with his Resonance maxed). Furthermore, since the party will be working with him a couple of times before he bites it one way or another, I want to demonstrate that he is in another league but without him just running circles around everyone. My group has advanced to the point where they have 8 ranks in a few of their most important skills. Do I have this wildly wrong?
As for Kane, I have no idea where to start except that he probably has quite a few ranks in various pilot and firearms skills. Any advice beyond that?
