Speaking with elders was one of those things that Steam gladly leave to somebody else, right now he focuses only on details of the scene, observes surrounding area and tries to get a feeling of neighborhood. He niotices quite a lot of gang markers and tags all around, both sprayed on walls and spamming in AR.
He is also curious about authorities presence in area and common social status...as this was Texas, he considered anyone here armed, so even visibly carried weapons doesnt surprised him too much...it almost feel like in Sioux district in Denver...well...Sioux were much more militant than locals. At least so far. So he gets off the truck and follows Abdiel to the doors.

The journey was uneventful - no one following you, no gangers around - which is the best description Jackalope gets on the senior O'Carolans' lives. They seem seriously boring people, unless you like College Sports, in which case they're still pretty damn boring.

The theme continues when a paunchy looking Ork with glasses, white hair and a pullover jumper that was last cool back when America was a single country answers.

"Whatcha want?"

"Good day, sir. I gather you are Mr. O'Carolan?

"My name's Abdiel. We're investigating your daughter's disappearance, and it would be a great help to us if we could ask you some questions. I'm sure you've already been bothered by the official police investigation, but as you know they didn't exactly put their hearts into the investigation, and anything you can tell us makes it more likely for us to find Monica quickly, and the faster we find her the more likely she is to be safe.

"May we come in?"

OOC: Let me know if you need any social rolls and if so which one(s).

The Ork stares at Abdiel for a moment, eyes narrow behind the glasses. Then he shrugs and leads you in without a word, into a room that's about twenty years of date with chunky sim projectors for entertainment. He doesn't offer you any refreshments as he sits down in an arm chair, covered in a shade of beige that should be banned, and looks beadily at you.

"So. What do you want to know?"

Ooc: if anyone has questions in mind, go for it or Abdiel can pass them on. I'm traveling and will post when I can.

OOC: OK, sorry for the delay.

"Now, as I said before, I'm sure you told Lone Star most of this - but they don't share information with us.

"First, can y'all tell us anything about Monica's friends? In particular, if she knew anyone connected to any of the gangs in the area, it would help us to know who.

"Do you know if she had trouble with anyone? Anyone making threats, stalking her, or harassing her in some way that you know about?

"Did she let you know about any problems at work? Did she seem worried or under any unusual stress the last times you saw her?

"Also, anything else you think might be relevant?

"I do appreciate your help, again. I assure you that we'll do our best to find her."

While talking, Abdiel does his best to seem sympathetic and sincere.

OOC: That's all the questions I could think of but if anyone else has any fire away.

Ill wait for old mans response, before ill start to analyse if what he sayng us is truth and so on. After basic questioning is done, Ill ask for peromission to search her room etc, maybe pose some more questions. Well, AFTER his response.
