Not sure at all that I did the Increase Reflexes spell right. I'm pretty sure I screwed up only taking a Force 2 sustaining focus; I remember Force 3 sustaining focus is the standard, but I can't remember why. I cast the spell at Force 2 so I can tie it to the focus, get 7 hits on the spellcasting test... so what exactly is the result of the spell?

You get your force 2 spell, that's all. The rest of the hits are "discarded".

And you only get one extra pass. If I were you, I'd spend an Edge to add the Edge dice after the fact and un-cap the hits--you have enough to push yourself up to the full 4 passes with that.

But this still doesnt solve the problem with foci.

No, it doesn't. It's a somewhat weak foci, but at least it can sustain a force 2 spell for you.

Yeah, not taking the Force 3 focus with Omeed with a noob-tastic mistake, but I'm just going to have to live with it for now. Thanks, guys.

shapechange(human) is a spell that work's fine even at force 2 if you need advice on what to do with it once you have a force 4+ focus for your improved initiative spell
