Also i have an idea what Red would do,what he learned in UCAS  - as a Kid playing Hockey and taking part in snowball fights

when you press snow together it changes the density of the snow, sometimes even makes it to ice.

So anything that made some footprints even if under a new snow would be traceable with the UWB, as it is able to differentiate  between density, even more so if they had to transport some cargo away.  Only way to avoid it in my book would be not to touch the snow - levitate it all. But when fighters approach a plane they would never want to be at a mercy of a levitate spell so i guess there should be at least some tracks to follow.

So my Question to GM. Could red Get those differences on his UWB? what test would that be? and if by any means they have hidden their tracks, i will tell you why that would not work.

If GM decides to Make Red Blind midway in the search i can not do much ican just assume that there is a reason for it, maybe Red is just that slow, or maybe already dead being the only one ontheoutside ... 

Fact is, i will not just make up stuff and then get the GM correct me on it

Because if he could, Red would find a tropical beach at the head of the plane with some hot women sunbathing and drinks for free in the Bar.
