Controller > Keyboard + Mouse.

Keyboard + Mouse == Awkward as Hell.

I prefer the control I get from keyboard and mouse, but the problem is that I play on a 55" plasma from my couch.  That's not conducive to kb+m usage.  A controller is so much more convenient that I tend to use it in any game that supports it well.

Whereas I would prefer not to have to contort my hand into strange and unnatural positions for playing a game...

Heh, it's innate by now.  That reminds me of a funny picture I saw recently... I wonder if I can find it and figure out how to post it on here.

I don't get the assertions about contorting fingers on a mouse + keyboard setup.

The majority of PC games out there use maybe 5-6 keys, positioned so you barely have to move your hand. Mouse usually just the left and right click. The nature of the mouse resting on a surface means that aiming tends to be very precise.

MMOs are perhaps an exception, because most have dozens of commands plus the need to type communications to other players. Then again console controllers have difficulty with this as well.

I've had to switch to a controller due to the condition of my arm.   :'(
