"A team only works when everyone knows their role, chummer."  Jimmy turned to address Steelfish.  "So, I've got two questions for you: when's the meet, and how much do you know about the Johnson?"

Then he gave the short one a look.  "Don't say that again...  Just don't.  It doesn't mean what you seem to think it means."

"See, that's my point.  Now if you need some toys made after the mission I can help"

[Retrokinesis]

He looks at his watch - an actual, physical wristwatch - and turns to Jimmy, "You've got a few hours still. He's not corporate, I can tell you that much. Not even pretending to be. Claims to represent an undisclosed 'independent charitable organization'. You'd be forgiven for thinking that sounds worse".

"Yeah, that doesn't sound so great.  Got anything I could feed my contacts to do some checking of my own?"  Jimmy took a a good long drag on the cigar.

"You obviously have this covered Shark, as I can't make the meet just give me a call when or if you need me" He pings them all with his commcode and snaps up the whiskey bottle from the table, and heads out the door, paying off his tab electronically as he leaves. He could make it home in time to make dinner for his father before it got too late in the day.

[Retrokinesis]

"'Matter of fact I do. A name. The biggest 'contributor' to his little club? Danielle de la Mar". Steelfish puts his cigarette down in a ceramic ashtray on the bar and looks at Jimmy pensively. "Ring any bells?"

"Can't say as I have, but I'll run it by my contacts - if you can find anything online, Daedy, let me know.  Catch you later Steelfish, and thanks for the work."  He finished his drink, left his commcode, copied the datachip, and left the bar.  He got on his bike and set the pilot to take him home before calling up a friend in the Kagetora, Takeshi.

"Hey, omae, you got a minute to chat?"

"For you, omae? Always. What can I do for you?"

"Job offer just came up, but the details are pretty light - supposed to be international work, but outside of that I have very little idea what 'm getting myself into.  Hoping you might be able to get ahold of some information for me.  Think you can check around, see if anyone's heard of a Danielle de la Mar?"

On the ride home Diego contacted Lang Fang, "Lang, any updates on my order, like a price?"

As he jumps on his bike, now getting soaked by the consistent, cold rain that is Seattle's hallmark, Ignazio punches Slither's number into his commlink. "Hey, got a new job from Steelfish. Mystery Johnson, international work... can you try and find out some more about this before the meet? I have a name you can use to cross reference... Danielle de la Mar. Gracias chica!"
