"Hey, Shark... What's this crazy chica talking about, we're not going in? We got a job to do, so ka? We go, we do it, we get paid."

Draco leaned forward, frowning at Sonir. He reached into his coat, feeling the weight of the pistol... hating it.

[Mystalya]

Sonir blinks at Draco incredulously. "Did you even read this??" She peers back at her comm. Then again I suppose you can't believe everything you read on the Matrix...

"If it turns out to be that bad?  We go to plan L - call up Marduk's Firewatch contacts, let them clear the hive; as long as things are secured for the construction teams to work, client doesn't care HOW it gets done.  We're loaded up for anything, though, just in case - KE IV rounds, APDS, Stick'n'Shock, EX-Ex...  But first thing's going to be to get the lay of the land, figure out what we're dealing with; chances are, it's not actually going to be as bad as it looks."  He turned to address Draco for a second.  "Chica's smart, Draco - if it's a worst case scenario, 'going in' is at the bottom of a long list of bad ways to go.  There's smarter ways to get the job done at that point - and there are worse things than not getting paid, worse things than getting killed even.  You do know what bug spirits do, right?"

[umraefein]

Draco glared at Shark. "No... I'm too fragging stupid for that. Of course I know. Forgetting what my job is here?"

[RHat]

"So, I don't really need to explain why we wouldn't want to go into a hive if there's any other option, right?"

[Mystalya]

She reaches a hand over to tap Jimmy's arm to grab his attention from Draco. "Excuse me, but did you say bugs?" She shifts nervously and crosses her arms. "Specifically, what kind of "bugs"? I gathered spirits but..."

[RHat]

"It's a concern.  There's no evidence suggesting that's what's going on, but I'm not about to go into anything referred to as a "containment zone" without being prepared for the possibility."

[umraefein]

"We don't even know if we got bugs... Just some kinda bad mojo going on in there."

[Mystalya]

She breathes a sigh and sits back down. She fiddles with her comm a little, sending Jimmy a private message.

<<I'm telling you this because I somewhat trust you...I don't really like insects. Just forwarning.>>

"Well, if there is a smarter way to go about it then that's the way to go. If we can do this without making too much noise I'm sure the client would appreciate it." Her eyes narrow. "You mentioned gangs as well. When we get there I'll start checking up on them and see what I can find."

[RHat]

"You might have an easier time making inroads with the Human Nation guys than I would..."  He started adjusting plans in his head.

[Mystalya]

She shakes her head and sighs. "This just keeps getting better and better. Bugs and racists. What more could you want?" She laughs then nods. "Yes, I definitely see them having less of an issue with me than you. Unless they decide they also hate awakened or women."

Tink shows up roughly on time (not sure when in this convo I'd show up, I assume they have plenty of time to talk before I come though, since talking doesn't take long.)

"What's the drone limit again?"

[Chrona]

Three star drove his motorbike a little ways into the hanger and left it parked near the wall, waving slightly towards the others as he walked over. Most of his gear had fit into his smuggling compartment, the combat load vest he now wore under his suits jacket or a duffel bag tied to his bike. "I, Three Star, thought the car park out the front was getting a bit conspicuous."

He extended his left hand to the Lady, as he had done with Jimmy, and introduced himself, "You must be the late addition, pleased to make your acquaintance. I, Three Star hope we shall work well together." He definitely seemed sober this time.

After pleasantries he gestured in a large sweep of his right arm towards the Face. "How did it go with Marduk, obviously it wasn't worst case scenario."

[Mystalya]

Sonir gives a polite nod to Tink and extends a hand in greeting to Three Star. "I'm Sonir. Nice to meet you....so just call you Three Star then?" she asks curiously. It was an odd name for sure. Surely it had some sort of symbolism.

She withdraws back into herself and crosses her arms. "Hm...missing one still."

[Retrokinesis]

Richter's patrol car pulls-up slightly late, lights flashing. He gets out and takes an enormous duffel bag and his White Knight machine gun out of the trunk. Hefting them over his shoulder, he strolls over to the group and nods. "Looks like we've got a new friend. Joy. Name's Marduk. And you would be... "

He's very clearly doing his best to ignore Jimmy and Three Star.
