Legion took a sip of the whiskey while attuning to the team channel. "This one finds the whiskey excellent. Thank you."

Legion turned back towards Cookie, "We will have it ready in a few minutes, but let us set our things out back first." Legion then stood up with the whiskey in hand and followed the path GIbbon had taken. When he arrived in the room, Legion addressed Gibbon, "We apologize for not noticing you before, perhaps this one requires glasses. As for the... 'chicas'... Perhaps they will be visiting a restroom, since they seem to always use those in groups as well?" Legion then set the whiskey down and said, "We must step back out to our vehicle to set up surveillance."

With that, Legion walked back out of the bar to where the Conestoga was parked.

Gibbon laughed heartilly when Legion mentioned the restroom. "I didn't think of that possibility, amigo. And don't worry, i'm good at not being noticed. And i just may have been to the... restroom, when you arrived."

When the bartender brought the rum and the glasses, and Legion was back, he filled glasses for those that wanted to have some rum and invited the others for a toast. "Well then, shouldn't we toast restrooms first? They are a great invention without which humanity would be poorer."

Cookie stepped back to the bar to grab the drink he had ordered as the barman delivered it and without a word he held up his glass of orange juice

It had been a while since he had actually enjoyed himself, although he had a strong suspicion now that his words may fail to be interpreted as a joke, at which point he gave up thinking and then downed the entire glass.

Gibbon thought for a moment, working his mind around the intended joke of Cookie, then gave a small laugh. At least he tries, he thought after drinking some. "Well, i can assure you, there won't be any excessive drinking involved, as it is only a single bottle of rum for six people. And of course, i wouldn't decrease my ability to think while planning for work." Holding his glass in front of his eyes, he added jokingly "However, after the meeting might be quite another story."

"No that'll be afterwards when I try that wine, though I doubt I'll get drunk on the first glass of it unlike most other unaugementeds likely will, that reminds me"

@all: Just letting people know I ordered a bottle of that palm wine for towards the end of the meeting once we hedge things out, just for the record I will happily give a verbal comment on whether I added tags or drugs to it upon people asking for such a comment, however this comment may turn out to be not relevant as by that point I maybe on my second glass

Legion walked out to the Conestoga and rummaged around for his Lockhead Optic-X. He then addressed the stubborn sprite in the Matrix, "Fly this drone to a safe place on the roof of the bar and wait for me to join you." With that, the drone flew up to the roof to find a safe spot.

 Legion locked the vehicle and went back inside, catching the end of Gibbon and Cookie's conversation. "Perhaps they needed to powder their faces as well?" Legion joked as he entered the room. "We are hoping you will protect this one while his mind is  elsewhere. And if the ladies come back, let them know it is best to not disturb the trance." Legion then found a clear space to sit and sat down cross-legged with his eyes closed. He then reached out through the Resonance to find the signal of the Optic-X on the roof above.

While Legion looked for a comfortable place, Gibbon said to him “Surely you will be available on the team channel, no? I wouldn’t let the women wait too much, they might consider it impolite. And we won’t let anything happen to your body or your drink.” Then he turned to Cookie. “That’s the spirit, amigo. But we still have time until then.” Speaking of time… He paused for a moment to send a short text to his girlfriend. >>Hey, corazón, sorry, work happened so I won’t make it for dinner. Go on without me, i’ll make up for it next time. Don’t be mad and have fun!<<

In the next half hour Gibbon brought up many topics like sports, politics, stock markets and women, and seemed to be genuinely interested in what Cookie was like (and Legion, if he returned to the world of the aware). To the others he must have looked like a carefree person. His comments showed that he knows the lower echelon of society better than the higher.

If the others tried to bring up the job, he tried to dissuade them from discussing it while the women were not there.

Cookie mostly kept up with the conversation, talking about women was one thing but it became clear to him that Gibbon and him didn't share many other interests he listened anyway and asked a few questions where needed, when he was finally pressed on the matter by the other two he actually had to admit that he was more interested in medicine, parazoology, chemistry and cooking.
As for sexual relations with the opposite sex, he admitted he just hadn't found the time or the right woman.
He also sent a question down the group chat to Legion asking him what he was willing to talk about on himself.
Additionally, he did make an attempt to persuade the others to try and catch a few nature shows on some of the awakened critters that were found in the northern parts of the UCAS via the team group chat.
He also thoroughly avoided the topic involving work.

A waiter enters the room, "Your meal as requested sirs."
He leaves a platter of oddly shaped fried objects on the table, some big some small, there's a bowl filled with lots of tiny brown ones, like oddly colored rice. He leaves immediatly.

When Legion found the node for the drone he jumped-in alongside the sprite and took a first glance around to get his bearings.

In cuisine, Cookie and Gibbon found a common topic. Although the dwarf was at the eating end, and he mostly knew Middle- and South-American specialities, he was very interested in Cookie's suggestions on where good ingredients could be found in Seattle. It was also easy to convince Gibbon to check the nature shows. This wasn't his basic line of interest but he was open to anything new broadcast on a wide variety of topics.

After looking around the roof, Legion hovered through any alleyways next to the bar looking for other doors on the building and any sign of people.

A hearty talk always leaves a mark on the mood, so Andromeda was a bit  happy about going in VR for driving the Shin, though the girls would be offended by her leaving the world of the Living to play in the Trix, so this time she plugged herself in, for the direct feed, but stayed active and drove her car in flesh keeping on talking

the Shin parks not far from the Bar and the Girls calmly get out.  They have missed not more then half-an hour of fun in the Bar.
