The node is sculpted to look like the museum itself, your Icon can move through the 5 floors to see what is on in each room, displays are not specified to be permanent or temporary as such, but checking through you can find the ones with end dates. The permanent displays are Prehistoric Life on the first floor, the Renascence on the second, The third floor contains displays for the 5th World, the first use of wireless Internet, Personal Computers, Mobile Phones, etc. The 4th floor is getting nearer to the current day, with a Eurowar exhibit (Don't make me elaborate on this, I don't have  Black Book =P). The 5th floor is an Art exhibit, it shows off some of the modern transgenic
artwork and has a display that is forward looking to the future of metahumanity and the 6th world.

Every floor also has a temporary display of varying things, ranging from metahuman history, to drone history, to the cotton gin.
All of the temporary exhibits end at the same time, matching up exactly as the day before yo know the Aztec Exhibit should begin.
The Aztec exhibit is listed to begin on the same date in the Johnson's Information, and in the usual PR spin, gives use praise to Aztechnology for supplying and sponsoring the exhibit.

"We'll have to check out all the floors," Kitten said when she saw this, "they have temporary exhibits all over the museum, so the Aztech one will probably also be all over the place.  So it's probably best to hit them before we have to hunt stuff all through the museum.  So Cookie and I will do the morning shift, while Silk and Gibbon come in the afternoon, although seperate.  Anything else?"

Gibbon shrugged. "OK then, i will go alone. But i won't wait until afternoon. The exhibition opens in five days. Tomorrow it will be only four. We have to be as quick as possible with our prep. And the building is big enough that we can avoid meeting if that's what you want." He took a deep breath, preparing for a long list. "While we're there we have to check patrol routines, sensor placements, state of readiness, exits, both public and for employees, possible transpot routes, hiding places... I don't know about the astral, and i'm sure Legion is better equipped for 'trix but diverting any watchful eyes should be a priority."

"Also keep an eye out for places it might be possible to 'accidentally be locked in'," Kitten added, "that would at least make it easier to get into the building."

"Think we should split the advance between the six of us. Everybody might need some dinero a mano." Giving thought to what Kitten suggested, he added "I think that they keep track of everybody who entered wirelessly. So this might be achieved if someone found a hiding place and another person checked him out inconspicuously, taking a wireless device with his ID out of the building."
Gibbon finished his glass of rum and poured another before continuing. "I know we still need an awful lot of info for a plan but i think there are some basic outlines forming. I think we have to smuggle the goods out of the building, avoiding the watchful eye of the guards. We certainly could try to go in with false identities and try to get the crates as different stuff out but the size and the net worth make me think this would be loco. I'm sure they took special care to track the crates. We will surely need live 'trix overwatch. As for further things, i hope that tomorrow's visit will help us with those."

just for reference
He then turned to the rest of the group, "We do, however, agree that recon sounds good. We can send ourselves deep into the Matrix to find the information, about the Johnson and with a little more prep, the museum. If Andromeda wishes, we can assist in acquiring a vehicle also."
[/spoiler]

The conversation was its boring self as always and she did not find the rime or the best moment to speak up, except the small moments when she spoke out wat was on her mind like the ocasiannall "really?"or just a "hmmmm....."

"We should also take a good look at the way the exhibit was brought to the museum, this might give some insight in how it will be taken away and we can use it for stealing it." Andromeda suggested the group "easier to steal a truck already loaded as to collect everything from the exhibit itself." Investigating video feeds of the offloading and the flow of truck might be tricky, but it would pay of greatly

then turning to Legion "Yes we will defiantly go do some Car-lifting just to have some plan B i will even introduce youto two of my friends :)" She smiled as she knew Legion would like her two Doberman drones.

If this ninjas any further planning, don't worry and carry on, i'm just not sure how much i'll be online saturday.

The Museum is crowded when those checking it out arrive, the crowd makes it much easier to blend in. Admission is free, but requires a SIN and MAD scan. Anyone entering roll 4d6, if it gets higher then your fake SINs rating, tell me. If you are taking in anything illegal and metallic or have F rated 'ware, roll 3d6 and tell me the result, otherwise assume you all get in okay and can look around. Anyone scoping out the first floor thoroughly please roll visual perception. The gift shops close at 5PM, and then the restaurant closes at 6PM. This gives security ample time to secure those rooms before the museum closes at 7PM. So far everything you can see matches the map on every floor, checking out the security and storerooms will be trickier though, I'll need a shadowing test for scoping out the security routines, and Infiltration for every storeroom you try to get into. Perception will be needed to search for the Crates on your manifest. Assenssing may show those inclined what they're looking at in Magical Defences~ Anything I've not thought of, just ask.

After he'd left the others at the bar the night previously Cookie had spent some time making a call to some people he'd rather not talk to, he had then gone through his clothes looking for the cleanest and most presentable thing he could find before turning in.
Now he was standing inside the museum, unarmed, wet from the morning downpour, wearing a pair of chinos and a dark grey shirt his rain soaked jacket tucked under one arm, it was time to go to work...

OOC: Not bringing any weapons, so, first up, the "fun" roll, which I make, just. Either way going to look around all the floors starting with the first, looking to ID the signature of the mage as well as what they've put up.
Lastly taking mental note of the position of obvious security cameras and taking note of what the guards are equipped with, obviously, will add more as it comes to me.
Roll vs rating 4 fake ID (6d6.hits(5)=3)
Having a look around on the first floor... (8d6.hits(5)=2)(Perception[visual])
assensing roll on magical security (7d6.hits(5)=2)
OOC: As for the gear list going to contact piemaker for that, let me know if I need to do anything, need to refresh my memory on acquisitions first.
Edit: telling Piemaker that he's prepared to pay up to double the value on the chameleon coating
Edit2: apparently that wasn't necessary.

After leaving the group, Kitten went back home to get a decent night sleep.  One of the disadvantages of running the shadows were the irregular hours, but then again, with the Marauders she had those as well.  Still it wasn't a bad idea to sleep whenever possible.

The following day she took a taxi to the museum, leaving the heavy gear at home.  Dressed in nice looking jeans and t-shirt, with only an Ankh pendant on a necklace and a silver bracelet as jewelry, she arrived just in time.  She had agreed with Cookie to meet him at the statue in the entrance hall.  All museums put something big in the lobby and it was a convenient meeting point.  After the compulsary SIN check, they moved into the museum and started walking around, looking at the displays as she's quite interested in old history, but also at placement of guards, cameras and how they patrolled.

SIN check (rating 4 fake ID): SIN check (4d6.hits(5) =0)
critical glitch on the SIN check: I think my SIN is real enough for the machine (that's a change from last time)  :)
gear: taser (that's legal), my form-fitting half-body suit under regular clothes, my two foci (deactivated), glasses and earbuds connected to commlink (I brought my two commlinks, but only one is active), respirator.  Everything else is at home.

visual perception:
intuition 5 + perception 2 + visual 2 =9 (9d6.hits(5)=1): not much I guess
actively looking 3 (3d6.hits(5)=1)
so 2 hits in total.
security routines:
intuition 5 + shadowing 2 =7 (7d6.hits(5)=4): much better
astral check:
intuition 5 + assensing 3 =8 (8d6.hits(5)=2)

Silk stayed in the stripper's character, but made sure to dress and style herself less revealing, molding herself into something close to 'the secretary look' but making sure the signs saying she had little problem revealing more in different conditions were still present.

What's currently on display?
Carrying a ceramic Morrisey Elan, broken down into random items and clothing accessories, should be pretty much undetectable.
SIN scanner: 1 hit (glitch, but don't think that matters) vs SIN rating 4.
Perception: 5 hits
Security Design: 4 hits
Security Procedures: 4 hits

Pretty darned good rolls.
Hm, does "actively looking" count for perception? I guess yes? Actively looking? (3d6.hits(5)=2) Makes it 7 hits.
In case it's needed Disguise (10d6.hits(5)=3)

Spending a good few hours scoping out the museum in the morning Kitten and Cookie map out the various floors camera positions, marking any that don't have blind spots to be dealt with over the matrix. Their assenssing corroborated the info that there probably was magical staff, at least one but probably more as there is a spirit on every floor, mostly Man but a couple Water nearer the top floors. They bear no resemblance to Aztechnology preferred traditions luckily. Kitten spends a few more hours scoping out the guard patterns.  There are two groups of three security guards for each floor. One is mobile, circling the floor. The other is fixed in the middle rooms, one per room. Shift changes don't leave much wiggle room because of this. The Security office would appear to be in the basement, as is any staff room for guides and other non-restaurant staff, this does mean during a shift change a guard has to make the entire journey down using the lift, unfortunately they wait until the new guard has taken the lift up.

Later in the day with this information Silk can more precisely aim her investigation. The first thing she notices is there is no separate guard team to support closing the gift shop at 5pm and the restaurant at 6pm down, at both times 3 guards move into there and leave only 3 on the ground floor. Though unable to determine if this is the same for the cafe on the 5th floor without being in two places at once, you assume so.
The large statue in the center of the open space near the ground floors stairs, title the Statue of Love, is an incredibly old piece, dating back to 18th Century England, where it survived a horrible fire in the manor house it once resided. It is certainly a stand out piece among everything in the museum, and a permanent, popular attraction. Your eyes are drawn up to the urn held aloft by the woman of stone, the spike of water pouring into it pointing to the roof, it is a beautiful piece but your attention is drawn away by something that repeats every floor. There are two strange vent like openings on the divider between each floor, 4 in total. (Hardware to work out what thy are, pictures can be taken to show others). Finally Silk has noticed that the metahumanity display on the top floor is not doing well, though the Art exhibit draws a large number of visitors, the Forward looking display is barely populated throughout the afternoon and early evening, it's popularity near non-existent. You could definitely see the room managing to fit the contents of the Aztec display as well.

Gibbon prepared for the museum visit with extra care. This was not the first time he had to do covert surveillance. First, he coiled his tail around his upper body and fixed it with strips. He then took loosely fitting, baggy clothes, to look like someone more stocky. He used makeup to make his face look more like that of a baseline dwarf. The only weapon he kept on himself was the ceramic knife in the special holster.
Disguise: INT(5) + Disguise(3) (8d6.hits(5)=1)
using edge to improve: INT(5) + Disguise(3) (7d6.hits(5)=4), total of 5 hits
SIN: SIN (4d6.hits(5)=2)

Arriving in the museum, he methodically went through the exhibitions. He didn't spend too much time in either room, just enough to seem like someone mildly interested in the topics and to be able to check for cameras and other security devices. On one of the floors, he timed his round to be able to follow the mobile security team, but quickly gave up as one of the guards became suspicious.
Perception to notice anything unusual: INT(5) + Perception(2) + Warez(3) + Enhancers(3) + Looking(3) (16d6.hits(5)=3)
Security systems to discern usual setups and what kind of tools the museum uses: LOG(4) + Security Systems(3) + Warez(2) (9d6.hits(5)=4)
Shadowing to follow guards: INT(5) + Shadowing(3) (8d6.hits(5)=1)

The museums security is old, but still good, rating 4 Maglocks on any inner doors, though most all display rooms lack doors, so you're looking at the restaurant, cafe, storerooms, kitchen and toilets for closed off areas during the night. Out doors are rating 6 Maglocks, as are any windows.

While sitting in a quiet area and watching the guards to have an idea about their level of training (having trained a lot of mercenaries, she should be able to have some idea), Kitten also opened the node of the museum again and checked if they had any want adds running, like for night shift cleaning, security or something like that.  It might be a way to get one of them into the building at night.  And while it wasn't the easiest way, it was still worth checking out.  If they could get one person inside, the job would become a lot easier.
