A message beeps up on the team's commlink from Silk saying that she put needing a new Face out on te grapevine, a fixer she knows is sending someone called Rorek, who comes highly reccomended.

The description Gibbon was giving turned into a rapid succession of spanish words which even those generally speaking spanish had difficulty to understand. Maybe with the exception of Kitten who spent some time in Bogota, but then she wished she didn't.
After two or three sentences the dwarf got a grip of himself and smiled at the girls, his voice betraying the strain it took him to keep a semblance of calm. "She likes to control others' lives, doesn't she?"

[Punch]

Cookie blinked a few times, covered his mouth and coughed.
"I suppose the Spanish inquisition will turn up next at her behest."
Of course he couldn't tell if it was okay to say that but most of him had already given on trying not to say it, on top of which he also was sure his mouth should be doing something but he couldn't recall what.

*well then. Shall we start round two?* he let's out a soft chuckle.  He walks back over to the table the group was at he does not enter then speaks so only those at that table can hear. ah, my friends it seems  that destiny has had us meet before. I understand that I may have interrupted you before hand but I believe I may have an invitation now" he then politely waits for a response. *and if I don't, well I'm sure I'll be able to weasel out of it*

Gibbon's hand disappeared under his jacket again, when the guy they sent on his way earlier spoke again, almost inside. The others could hear a very quiet *click* from where his hand rested. He sent a questioning look at the others then returned to staring at the two separate exits of the room.

"A good point.." as Cookie sighed to himself "...to make is that he could have just started shooting, another is I'm assuming your lack of social grace was more to do with the two suits from earlier? yes we did spot them before you ask, unless your not who we think you are? so could you please wait there while we confirm your identity, everyone's nerves are rather on edge, in short, if your are on the level please don't move."
as Cookie's hand fiddled with his commlink adding as much malice as he could with the last part of his statement, to everyone else he just sounded neutral.
@Silk: Hi, can you confirm who exactly Rorek is? ie commlink, physical ID and any personal info you can share, we have a situation going on that may result in us shooting him if we can't confirm who he is.

Kitten had been sitting with her back against the wall, full view of the booth and if the curtains opened, the rest of the room.  She hadn't done anything while the stranger had been in, just ready to stunbolt his ass should it become necessary.  She had, however, checked the new matrix specialist out in the astral.

'You got to be kidding me,' she thought when she got the message from Silk, right before the guy came back.

"Put it away," she said softly to Gibbon, before turning to Rorek, "As face I must say you didn't make a very good first impression.  Care to comment?"
She just didn't add 'soldier' to the quesion, as she was slipping back in her touch merc persona, while sneaking another peak on the astral to get a good look at Rorek.

Rorek turns slightly and fidgets with his comm trying not to draw much attention."not moving chum, I understand how things get iffy, I just prefer in person conversations. As for the other matter as you have noted I was in a bit of a rush trying to keep from causing a scene with some... undesirables, but hey as it turns out the universe works in strange ways heheh. Also, here is my comm I'd say you may want that. For one reason or another.

Gibbon murmured under his nose to Kitten. "I didn't even take it out. Yet." Then he raised his voice somewhat, so that the others and Rorek heard as well. "Let him, in, Amigos. We are making a scene right now, and i don't want my good connection with the locals to worsen." He still didn't take his hand from under his jacket, but the soft *click* repeated reassuringly, and some of the tension eased from the dwarf's shoulders.

[Chrona]

Silk didn't even bother replying, she was tired of cookie's overbearing paranoid tendencies.
Luckily the matter seemed to have resolved fast enough for the other customers not to care and people stopped peeking over. The suits had seen Rorek join an unidentified number of people and had to withdraw, they couldn't risk it now.

"Fine by me I guess, Silk still hasn't responded but she's probably busy, personally I think we can play this off as an unfortunate series of random events.".
"hopefully...hell maybe I should just take things as they come...no, no last time most of the team got killed and I didn't get paid, I'm not repeating that mistake but so far nobody has fitted the behaviour pattern of that guy, maybe I should layoff a bit....and I need to realise that this isn't the same crew, the same situation or even a similar job, maybe buying everyone drinks will calm things down a bit.
"... and you know what I'm buying the first round of drinks for those that want it, any takers?"

Still not sure whether to enter or remain standing still rorek answers with a charming smile."Hey mate, the first rounds on me, that is if my invitation is good but I may take you up on that for the second if it comes to pass".

Andromeda Closed the curtains behind the possibly newest member of the team for this run, and drew her taser. "Do you know Silk?" was a quick question from her to Rorek before the barrel of the taser was pressed against Rorek's Back Pushing him towards the closest empty seating where Silk had taken place just a few moments Ago.

easy hun, I haven't  even bought you dinner yet, but no, I do not have the pleasure of knowing silk, now wait before you taser me a friend of mine may know her, infact he is the reason I came back over here. Said something about work. he grins allowing to be prodded along by the threating woman showing no worry but making sure to not do anything remotely threatening.

"You do not know Silk, and you no better then me in talking your way out of trouble." Andromeda summarized. "You got just one chance to convince we need you, and i think you are wasting it." Still holding the taser to his back Andromeda explained.

@Team >>Kitten, you think we should stun his ass and hold him in the body bag compartment until we know for sure he is who he said he is, just too damn of a coincidence he is the one Called Rorek. And if we do it the way we just discussed, do we need him at all?<<
