"Go to that bar we went to to discuss things over after meeting the J," Kitten said, "and ask the bartender to give you the unhanced menu.  It's the one where he puts a picture of what the food looked like when it was still alive.  It's very educational.  You learn more about insects then you ever wanted to know.  But why?"

"If you want to 'poison' yourself, why don't you go to a fancy restaurant," Kitten said, "Order some seafood and then turn allergic to it.  Problem solved and you have a much better dinner out of it."

A bit before two, Kitten arrived at the restaurant.  Luckily it was in a part of town where taxis went.  Maybe she should buy a car after this job, or a motorcycle.  She could see with Andromeda for upgrades.  She didn't know what Gibbon wanted, but she had put on her armour and brought a gun.  One could never be too careful, was her motto.  At least this place looked nice and had a nice menu, even if she had to look up a couple of things as she had never been in Asia before.

Gibbon also arrived a few minutes before two. When he saw Kitten already there, he mumbled some apology for not being there earlier, blaming traffic. He checked with staff if one of the private rooms was available for an hour, renting it if the answer was positive. Otherwise he’d have to settle for one of the tables. He gave the name Escobar at the counter, hoping the others remembered that this was the one they had to refer to at the Indian restaurant as well.

Sitting down, he engaged Kitten in some small talk, totally unrelated to their job.

Cookie reluctantly headed to the meet, he was not in a good mood, when he saw the others, his issue wasn't with them however.
Heading over he sat down at the table and simply nodded as a greeting, he then rifled around in his pockets to make sure he'd bought everything, he wanted to get this over with.

Pulse walked into the restaurant, sat down, and announced something to the portion of the team that was there - something was bothering him, and he didn't much feel like waiting to talk about it.  "Something about this job seems...  Off.  I've been getting some troubling requests from Johnson Junior, and I'm not sure what to make of it."

[Ren]

Gibbon was just about ready to draw the newcomers into the conversation, until the others arrive, but Pulse's announcement destroyed the opportunity. This just gets better. To the others, he only told "As much as i understand the need to discuss this ASAP, i strongly suggest we wait for the others." He tried to convey with look and tone alone, that he had significant reason to make the suggestion.

'One team member who get's stuff from the J, and it's not Silk,' Kitten thought, 'she's going to be so pissed.'
Also the fact that there were requests in the middle of a run made it difficult.  She didn't like it when things changed like that, but it wasn't the first time it happened and it probably wouldn't be the last either.  For now she kept silent and waited for the last people to arrive.

At mention of the Johnson junior he turned his head slightly to say something but instead stopped and turned back.
It can wait and this isn't going to be news to me in someway, but I was expecting something weird more from the older one though perhaps it was an act at his suggestion or vice versa we'll have to see; I have enough problems.
sighing to himself he ordered a coffee from the shops ARO menu before speaking up "Agreed, we've got a lot to go over." whilst staring into the space the menu occupied.

Silk was late. While that wasn't really so unusual in the life she pretended to live, this was work. There was no 'fashionably late' when it came to business.
She was angry at herself but didn't show it.
"Sorry I'm late.", she said in a tone which suggested the assumption that no one would blame her for it. "Why the frack isn't Rommy driving us around? I had to drive all the way to this dump with a scooter!
Anyway, what's this all about, what's so important?"
