Andromeda just did not have that kind of money and nego roll to get it in time. if you pay out the up front monay she still would need a bit help monetary wise for the jammer.

also you can add con value of a connection if you are swagging it if i am not mistaken but the it will cost more - conx5% increase of the 6000k it's price and actually Andromeda has the money if she has her share of the up front money.

If Silk's fixer can help find it (mostly spy stuff, smart jammer might fall under that), she's a C4 contact, that'd be 4 extra dice, but 20% extra money? It's your money... if you wanna spend it...

Not sure if they are spent at all. Also Andromeda is paying herself and of course she will be in debt to Silk, but a smart jammer is very useful for the team not allowing other groups to have contact while we have radios on.

also afaik we can just use their connections rating as their dicepool for acquisitions and you can pay more to add dice......... ergh i hate the swag rules, from now on as long as its in their relevant field assume a contact is rolling 6+ connection rating for swag

I was just trying to indicate that Gibbon was totally confounded by how differently Silk was behaving during the meet in the Johnson's house and at the bar. He couldn't get a read on her, so he's quite a bit unsure if the place will be acceptable for her. Generally he's a bit uncertain about everything if it comes to Silk.
