Block the entrance to the loading dock of the museum.  If the gates don't open, the truck can't offload (but can stand on the museum grounds).  Azzie team leaves (probably some museum guards will go outside to keep an eye on the truck) and then we come in to get the truck out.

Can block the entrance or that voice control system. Silk might be able to do the second by  mimicking false commands, Pulse can probably do either...
But blocking the entrance might make the azzies stay, if they notice the goods aren't being accepted.

Not necessarily, but I can tell you to hold if they do and as soon as it's 'fixed', we can move in.  We'll have to accept at that time that some of the things will be offloaded, but they will probably still be in the loading area and therefore easily put back on the truck (especially if the freight elevator inside is also not working).

We still have a couple of days IC, so I can use those to gather more information.  Our resident hacker can use it to probe the museum system (takes longer than hacking on the fly, but is lots safer) and install a backdoor so he can get in quickly the evening of the heist.  If I have to plant a bug (a microtapper for instance) let me know and I can do that during a short break.  We're searched going out, not coming in.  Also more information on the truck they're going to use might come in handy.

Silk can do the same (probing) with her pet guard.

I already have that backdoor into the museum - hit that one before the stuff with the brain eaters.

The only other thing which we've forgotten, is the museums hired in security mage but I doubt he'll be that much of a problem.

those spirits might be, as I assume they are bound.  But if their response is to report to the mage, we just have to take out the mage and it should be okay.

@Chrona: can I talk to those spriits without it being obvious (except to the spirits of course)?  They just might answer when I ask what their task is.  :)

Just a question: how many SMGs did we hand over to the Brain Eaterz? Because the number of people we can get from them limits our options in using them.

So far 3 but they did expect the whole batch.

Or at least i did.

I am giving Silk, as the negotiatior, final say on how many you handed over in the end and as its further into the day, we will assume they have been exchanged without hassle. This was originally assumed by me to have all ready happened earlier  but there had been some confusion over it.

You are welcome to talk to the security spirits if you want to reveal you are awakened (they are never manifested, they seem to have not given any thought to the fact you are awakened though)

I just asked the number of Uzis because I pondered how to set the gangers to the task. So my suggestion would be: 1 Uzi for distraction (1 hacker attacking some other site the museum’s security spider watches), 5 Uzis for shaking pursuit (1 hacker trying to frag with the pursuer’s vehicles from matrix and 2 people waiting in position to rain bullets on the tires of the pursuing cars, or propellers, or anything slowing them down). If the first hacker finished with distraction, he can hop in and help with the second hacker, and I don’t think we should pay extra for that, because if the hackers trying to stop pursuit will do their jobs properly, there won’t be a need to shoot at the vehicles.

That is 6 Uzis altogether. Handing over about 20k worth of weapons would have been somewhat of an overkill, as well as a stretch on our profit, i think.

Reasonable, considering the long term implications.

I'm thinking we gave A LOT more than that...
First of all, apparently we had no one with actual knowledge on what these guns are worth, at least no one spoke when Silk asked.
Second, if we do know the value, make sure to adjust its value. Fenced gear starts at 30% value. Adjust that for being used, stolen and used in a crime that's being investigated... the modifier in the book for that is -50% (and that's using a very generous -10% considering the severity of the crime: a veritable bloodbath in a popular nightclub during opening hours).
Third, we were in a very poor bargaining position, not knowing what we need, how much of it we'll be needing or when we'll need it. Their flexibility is worth quite a bit too.
And there is of course the fact that they're a gang of criminals who we want to be on our good side, so being a bit more generous than 'by the book' prices makes sense.
On top of that, on a personal matter, Silk would've never taken those guns from a crime scene this hot in the first place. They're the only things tying her (if memory serves me right) to the murder of over a dozen of civilians, an entire squad of mercenaries (also over a dozen people) and the attempted assassination of a politician who's also high-level humanis leader. Ever since she found out Andromeda and LJ had conspired to take those guns, she's been looking for a way to get rid of the damned things as quick and clean as possible. This looked like a golden opportunity.
All in all, getting anything positive out of these weapons is already a positive surprise if you ask me -or Silk, for that matter-.

So she gave 'em all of the Uzi's except maybe the one or two someone (sorry, forgot who) was borrowing while looking for a better gun.

(Also, pure metagame, the guns were LJ's/Andromeda's... Since both players are now gone from the game, I already feel slightly dirty still using them. But since this was set in motion before Kouryuu went up in smoke...)

If any of you have a problem with that, that's perfectly okay. Most of you(r characters) don't know the story behind these guns.
But then again most of you(r characters) also weren't present at the negotiations either...
Feel free to comment to Silk on IC if you don't like the results she got. She's a nice girl, I swear she will take the criticism with a smile and an apology.
Or, you know, poke holes in my reasoning here on OOC.

I was waiting to see if anyone said anything to silk about it IC but as no one has i am going to progress the day along to the next day. There isn't much point in a GM IC post as I have nothing new to present, it is still very much your show in what you want to do and who you want to contact.

The important things I can think of summarizing are
You gave all the guns due to how hot they were.
It is dry this morning but it is stated to be raining again by the afternoon until around midnight.
Kitten has work again at 17:00, a small delivery for cafeteria food and some general display items, nothing fancy.
