Full Defense: Response 5 + Defense 5 = (10d6.hits(5)=2).  First shot gets 3 net hits.  8P vs. 9 Ballistic - 4 AP, so attack penetrates.  Incoming is 8P+5P= 13P.  Soak: Body 3 + Ballistic 9 - AP4 = (8d6.hits(5)=2).  So drone takes 11P and is destroyed.

We are momentarily out of combat.

Zach lays into the rotodrone with his Heckler and riddles it with bullets sending it flying and crashing into the wall as it too goes offline.

You definitely hear more whirring noise outside the window but nothing is in sight yet.  The intense flames and spreading smoke are impeding  your vision more and more.  The flames are centered on the window and the couch.

Thanx for no letting me down. says Zach as he puts his respirator on
I know you didn`t knew Brick too much, and he was sick bastard from time to time, well he didn`t shoot me when he should, and I won`t let him down. Now...which way lady? My climbing equipement is in my backpack...down in the compartement of the bike, so I have another SMG, a few clips with armor piercing and explosive ammo, and a few grenades, some of them even EMP. Shortest way down is... Zach looks at the window
...possibly the same shit as if we try our chances on that hallway. There also seems to a be a few of those birdies. By the way...Ive heard the Hells kitchen is a nice place to visit this time a year. Would we give it a try?

"Null perspiration, chummer. Doesn't really matter how well I know Brick, you don't turn on your team. The shadows are dangerous enough without betraying your allies."

She pulls the specially-designed collar of her Urban Explorer jumpsuit over her nose and mouth, the pressure-sensitive material holding its shape and filtering the smoke from the air before it hits her lungs. She pushes a button on her jumpsuit and her whole body begins to blend in with the background due to the ruthenium fibers sewn into her armor.

Storm dispells two of her sustained spells, Detect Enemies and Improved Invisibility. She puts her hands together as though she's praying and her wounds close up, metal slugs hitting the floor as they are pushed from her body.
Cast Heal: Spellcasting(6)+Magic(4)+Power Focus(4)-Sustaining(2)-Injured(1) (11d6.hits(5)=4)
Drain(2) Resist: Cha(12)+Wil(9) (21d6.hits(5)=12) no drain

She gently puts her bare left hand over Zach's heart. A moment of concentration and his wounds close up just like hers had a moment before.
Cast Heal (Zach): Spellcasting(6)+Magic(4)+Power Focus(4)-Sustaining(2) (12d6.hits(5)=4)
Drain(1) Resist: Cha(12)+Wil(9) (21d6.hits(5)=12) no drain

Finally, Storm summons some help in the form of an F6 Air spirit [optional powers: Elemental Attack (lightning), Guard]

Summon F6 Air Spirit: Summoning(4)+Magic(4)+Power Focus(4)-Sustaining(2) (10d6.hits(5)=2)
Summoning Resist (6d6.hits(5)=1) 1 net service
Drain(2) Resist: Cha(12)+Wil(9) (21d6.hits(5)=9) no drain

Storm releases the spirit from the contract, and the spirit moves quickly back to the metaplanes, seemingly oblivious to the intrusion

Summon F6 Air Spirit: Summoning(4)+Magic(4)+Power Focus(4)-Sustaining(2) (10d6.hits(5)=2)
Summoning Resist (6d6.hits(5)=2)
Drain(4) Resist: Cha(12)+Wil(9) (21d6.hits(5)=7) no drain

The spirit isn't interested in this particular contract and Storm is unable to convince it otherwise

Summon F6 Air Spirit: Summoning(4)+Magic(4)+Power Focus(4)-Sustaining(2) (10d6.hits(5)=5)
Summoning Resist (6d6.hits(5)=1) 4 net services
Drain(2) Resist: Cha(12)+Wil(9) (21d6.hits(5)=5) no drain

The spirit nearly slips through a loophole in her contract but she seals it at the last moment, getting four services out of the bargain. The services are in exchange for a single breath of Storm's breath directly from her lungs. The air spirit inhales the air greedily, drawing Storms lungs nearly empty. Storm sees spots for a moment due to the lack of oxygen but she quickly recovers. The Air Spirit seems pleased with the transaction.

Storm tells the spirit through their telepathic link: "My cold and etherial partner, you have entered a contract which must be fulfilled. Outside that window is a group of flying metal abominations. You are to Conceal yourself, the ork named Zach [she nods in Zach's direction], and the elf named Storm [she puts her hand on her own chest], and cause Accidents to the abominations outside. If they attack and you near depletion, I command you to return to the metaplanes before you are unraveled. [uses two services]

Via text on Zach's PAN: "Hells Kitchen sounds grand. Get ready to jump. We need to see whats going on our there, any ideas?"

Storm nods at the blown-out window and waits.

"Ok. Shut down your pan."
Zach pulls out his commlink, and when he sees Storm is offline, he shouts down his pan and sets his device om Jamming-on-fly mode. This can at least made sensor targeting more difficult.
"Ok. Ready when you are"

The spirit of air leaps into action and jumps through the flames of the window.

Must soak 5P.  Soak Damage of Flames: Body 4 + 1/2 Impact 6 = (10d6.hits(5)=2).  Takes 3P.

Uses Accident on Drone 1: Spirit's roll: Magic 6 + Willpower 6 = (12d6.hits(5)=5)Drone's roll: Pilot 5 + Response 5 = (10d6.hits(5)=1).  You scored 4 net hits so according to the Accident Power that's a Critical Glitch like effect.

It grimaces in pain as you see that it's swirling mist like structure is slightly disrupted by the heat of the flames.  It stops on the other side and floats so that it can be in line of sight of Zach and Storm but can also see whatever might be incoming.

Air Spirit Init: Init 15 - Wound 1 = (14d6.hits(5)=4).  Init score 18.
Drones Init: Pilot 5 + Response 5 = (10d6.hits(5)=3).  Init score 13.

Drones try to see Spirit.  It's threshold 1 because F6 spirit very obvious. Drone Perception: Sensor 4 + Clearsight 5 - Conceal 6 (1)= (3d6.hits(5)=1).   With tacnet all of them can see her if even only 1 can.

Drones attack:
Drone 1:
Drone 1 Full Narrow Burst: Pilot 5 + Targeting 5 + Tacnet 2 = (12d6.hits(5)=6)Spirit Defense: Reaction 10 = (10d6.hits(5)=2).  Incoming on spirit is 9P Base, which doesn't beat the hardened armor.
 Test to see if drones are smart enough to switch to different ammo.  We'll make that threshold 3. Pilot 5 + Respone 5 (3) = (10d6.hits(5)=3)

Drone 2:
Uses Free to switch ammo to S'n'S.  Drone 2 Full Narrow Burst: Pilot 5 + Targeting + Tacnet 2 = (12d6.hits(5)=5)Spirit Defense: Reaction 10 - Prev. Def. 1 = (9d6.hits(5)=7).  Missed!

Drone 3:
Uses Free to switch ammo to SnS.  Drone 3 Full Narrow Burst: Pilot 5 + Targeting 5 + Tacnet 2 = (12d6.hits(5)=5)Air Spirit Defense: Reaction 10 - Prev. Def. 2 = (8d6.hits(5)=0).  Incoming is 6S + 5 net hits= 11S which beats 1/2 impact of 6.  Total incoming is 20S w/ FNB.   Air spirit soak: Body 4 + 1/2 impact 6 = (10d6.hits(5)=4).  Uses Edge to roll 6 Edge dice.  6d6.hits(5)=3.  That's two 6's.  2d6.hits(5)=0.  So that's 7 soaked and Spirit takes 13S which disrupts it.

You suddenly hear silenced auto fire and can see the spirit dodging it but before it can even send you a mental message you see the autofire has changed from live rounds to SnS as little electrical arcs dart out and engulf the air being and it's quickly burned to shreds which just dissipate into a fine mist.  You see one of the drones fall past the window, it's propellers completely stopped and then you hear it crash on the ground below.

These drones seem to be quite smart and well programmed.  You don't know how much time you have until they have LOS on you through the window.  You sure as hell can't see them yet but the flames around the window make you keep your distance.

Storm looks around the room, trying to judge its construction. She pays particular attention to the floor, walls, and ceiling.

perception(visual): Int(6)+Perception(1)+vision enhancement r2(2)+attention coprocessor(3)-sustaining(2) (10d6.hits(5)=4)

Need to find a way out of here, trapped like a lioness in a cage

@Storm:

The construction of the floor is linoleum over wood panelling over a very old concrete structure.   The walls also have the same type of structure except the surface is peeling wallpaper over dry-wall.  Opposite the wall with the window you do see a metal ventilation grate just below the ceiling that is about 0.5 m x 0.5 m.
Looks like part of the HVAC system.

@Everyone:
By now you see that entire wall that that the window is on is on fire and the temperature is almost un-bearable.

Storm grabs Zach by the shoulder and points towards the wall opposite the window where the metal grate is fastened to the wall.

"Time to get out of this shithole."

She summons another spirit, this time a burly dwarf. [F6 Earth Spirit, optional powers: Concealment, Elemental Attack: Blast]
Summon F6 Earth Spirit: Summoning(4)+Magic(4)+Power Focus(4)-Sustaining(2) (10d6.hits(5)=4)
Summoning Resist: Force(6) (6d6.hits(5)=2) [2 services]
Drain(4) Resist: Cha(12)+Wil(9) (21d6.hits(5)=2) [2P drain, reduced to 1P by platelet factories]

The spirit makes a harsh demand in exchange for his services. As Storm finalizes the contract, she reaches down, grabs her pinky fingernail, and savagely rips it off. She barely grimaces as she hands it to the spirit dwarf, who tucks it into his pocket, giving her an expectant look.

Storm mutters quietly to herself, "Tribute ensures loyalty."

She points at the metal grate and mentally commands the spirit: "Mighty dwarf, rip that metal grate from the wall so that we may all pass through! NOW!!"

Huh. Time for plan B
Zach said, pulling out hi-explosive grenade. He stops with the pin half pulled out, as Storm begin another summoning.
Already have a plan, but if you like to hurt yourself, go ahead.
wow she is a bit hectic. Hope she planed some moves ahead.
He reaches to the air and hides Sylwia in the pocket.

Remove grate test: Str 10 + Body 10 = (20d6.hits(5)=8).  Made it.  That's 1 service.

Make an Agility + Strength (4) check to move through the vent.  If you make it then you can drag yourself.

You're amazed at how quickly your blood coagulates but the pinky still smarts really bad!
The rugged little earthen dwarf nods and lunges at the grate sinking his fingers right into the metal and yanks it off with ease.   As you look into the darkness of the vent shaft you can see that after about half a meter it makes a T intersection that goes left and right.  It is incredibly small and dragging yourself through it will be very difficult.

Wounds: Storm{1P (drain)}

Well, Id say Ladies first but Id rather be the one encountering what`s inside and on the other side

Zach feels the heat becomming violent even with his fire resistant clotches. Like Storm said, time to get out of this hole. He recalls all those devil rats they saw when they arrived, and decided to lead the way into the darkness. He stretches his arms, makes a few exercises

Magic(7)+Boost STR/AGI(1) (8d6.hits(5)=4, 8d6.hits(5)=3) Str: 8, Agi: 7

And enters the gaping hole:

Strenght(8)+AGI(7) (15d6.hits(5)=9)  :o

Like a deepthroat. And the lady comes right after.

@Zach:

Even though you're head is aching a little from the mana slowly draining out of you muscles, you decide it's worth another boost and you charge them again with energy and instantly feel much stronger and faster.  You smile under your respirator and make your way into the vent shaft.  The cat in you takes over and you start wiggling and dragging yourself.  Within seconds you're already completely inside and have rounded the corner.  After only 2 meters you find another branching vent shaft that ends in a grate that must lead into some adjacent room.  The shaft also continues on ahead and you're pretty sure that you're in between floors right now.

@Storm:

As soon as Zach disappears through the vent you see a roto-drone pop out of the smoke and flames of the window and scan the room.  It's quite obvious his sensors have registered you.

Roto-drone perception: Sensor 4 + Clearsight 5 - Heavy Smoke 2 (2) = (7d6.hits(5)=3).  Storm is spotted, Zach isn't cuz he's in the shaft out of sight.
Zach and Storm roll initiative.
Roto-drone init: Pilot 5 + Response 5 + Tacnet 2 = (12d6.hits(5)=4).  Init score 16.

Wounds: Storm{1P (drain)}, Zach{1S(drain)}

That opening is tiny! How the hell did Zach wiggle his ork self through the vent? Holy crap, another drone!

Initiative: Storm (10d6.hits(5)=4) init: 14
Initiative: Earth Spirit (14d6.hits(5)=5) init: 19

[Storm uses a point of Edge to go first this round]

[simple action]
She sends a mental command to the dwarven earth spirit: "Blast the drones to pieces with your sledgehammer!!" [Elemental Attack: Blast]

[simple action]
Storm dives into cover behind an object near the grate

Storm knows her only chance now is to get into the ductwork as soon as the coast is clear. She can't let the drone see her otherwise its tacnet will alert the whole pack, probably along with the ones in the hall. Not much of an escape route if the drones simply wait to shoot them at the exit.

Good they made it this little today

Zach smiled as he was pulling Miniwielder from the pocket. Electric arc buzzes and starts to melt the material of the grate. He was aware Storm is in the middle of dealing with sme additional threat, well there want much he was able to now, trying to move backwards in this spacewould be quite challenging and it for sure wont be as quick as moving forward. In the end, he has full confidence in her ability to deal with it.

Earth Spirit Blast: Agility 4 + Exotic Ranged 6 = (10d6.hits(5)=3)Roto-drone defence: Response 5 = (5d6.hits(5)=1).  So 2 net hits makes it 8P incoming.
    Drone soak: Body 3 + 1/2 Armor 5 = (8d6.hits(5)=2).  Drone takes 6P and because 6P + Force = 12 vs. Body 3 is so much more it's gonna be a powerful knockdown.  I'll have drone do a Pilot + Maneuver (4) to not crash.  Pilot 5 + Maneuver 5 - Wound 2 (4) = (8d6.hits(5)=3).  Not enough hits.

The earthen golem-like dwarf swings it's hammer, raises it in the air and brings it down on the floor.  Linoleum and splinters fly up in the air as the top surface of the floor gets torn up.  The tear in the linoleum extends out from where the hammer impacted in a line which heads straight for the drone and as soon as it is under the roto-drone explodes upwards sending the little machine flying backwards.  It's gyroscope seems to have been completely damaged as it whizzes around in aimless circles without any control and crashing into the wall.

IP1,CT1: Spirit-19, Rotodrone-16, Storm-14
Edge: Zach-1/2, Storm - 2/3
Wounds: Zach{1S(drain)}, Storm{1P(drain)}
