@gm, assisted climbing downwards is written up as rappeling and runs as a success test (threshold 2) do you wanna run it like that for gecko kit too, as there are no rules for assisted climbing down for non-rappeling as far as i can tell?

Yeah, for simplicity sake it will be the same.  Success test (2)

Tomorrow is going to be another late night for myself so expect the IC post around this time tomorrow.  If Gustovness hasn't rolled by then, I will roll for him.  And I will critically glitch and he will slip and fall in his own fear pee.   >:D

edit: I have to remind myself, I'm the GM.  No giving out ideas!  Idea -> Removed.

Err... I rolled this morning in the IC thread where you asked us for it :P

You forget, good sir, that the GM is absolutely infallible.  Therefore the only reason that happened is because I suspect you may have used your TARDIS for personal gain to go back in time and include that post in a weak attempt to make me look like I don't know what I am doing.

New house rule:  No unapproved TARDIS use.

well i figured id rather survive the opening round of fire to live another day than be a bullet ridden corpse stuck upside down to a ceiling :-)
i've not got much armour on and i would imagine being adhered to the roof would particularly impact my reaction for defence rolls (at least a -2 for being prone equivalent i think). might not be the best call in the end but at least i get to shoot back at the blighted drone before i go down :-)

anyways, Cuco, you're up. blast that sucker to hell and back :-)

Alex will make a mental note to always carry some type of weapon on her, if she gets out of this alive.

@Gustovness: drain code is given in the spell's description, it usually depends upon the force with which you cast the spell. Most of the spells have F/2 + x as drain, where F is the force you cast the spell and x is a constant. In case of a fireball, code is F/2+5, so cast at F2, drain is 6. If F is less than or equal to your Magic, drain is stun. If F is higher than your Magic (maximum 2*Magic), drain is physical damage. So in your case, final drain is 6S. (Meaning, you just took 4S damage from drain.)
A note on calculation: F/2 is rounded down.

Also, a few notes on casting fireball:
- it has a radius of Force meters. You can limit the radius, by not rolling 1 or more dice on your spellcasting test, each withheld die reduces radius by 1 meter.
- As with all spells, you can have a maximum number of hits equal to the Force.
- The targets can try and dodge indirect combat spells as normal ranged attack. (In the drone's case, with Response, -2 dice for the area effect.)

Also, like i said its been a while since i played shadowrun, so if i overlook some things, please be patient and point it out. You won't hurt my feelings.
With that said, Is there an easy way to put up a legend where it will automatically be there when i post? And could someone remind me how i link rolls from invisible castle to the forum?

Sorry JDA, I was rereading the OOC posts and I realized that I completely missed your question about the legend to automatically pop up in posts.

In the top section of each page there is a series of links:

Home  Help  Search  Profile  My Messages  Members  Logout

Mouse over  "Profile" then click "Forum Profile"

The second last section will have a box for your forum signature.  This is where you will put anything you want to show up on every forum post you make.  For example, you could write "AffreuxLex sure is sexy."  Alternatively, you can put in a legend.  This is what I have in my own:

Code: [Select]
Speech
Thought
Matrix
Astral

If you've already figured it out on your own, then sorry again.  I am a terrible GM and I will try harder to shoot Csjarrat in the face next time to make up for it.

thanks for the explanation, Ren.  You should work onthe 5e book!

http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4062819/

14d6.hitsopen(5,6) → [3,2,2,1,[6, 6, 1],3,4,3,3,3,5,2,5,1] = (4)

this is for negotiations test with -3 distraction on dice, but i used edge.

I haven't requested the spirit to do anything yet so i don't think it will act. It is still in astral space.

BTW i wanted to ask, AffreuxLex, how do you want to handle spirits, can i state and roll the actions of spirits i summoned, staying within reasonable borders of course?
