Aaliyah slithers up the path in as casual fashon as he can, without much rough terrain to push off of having to sidewind gently up the concrete. Deciding to forgo the resteraunt for now and observe the heights of the city, perhaps to get a view.

-Peoria, Patton District-
The area around the ascending path shows fewer and fewer AR advertisements, and after a while the connection indicator marks a low bandwidth available. The vegetation remains relatively green for this late in the year, but also doesn't show a large degree of diversity. The paved path takes a wood bridge over a clearly engineered water spring and babbling brook, the path on the other side being made of flagstones. The large groups thin out extremely quickly, fading into groups of twos, threes, and solitary individuals in a mix of dress ranging from upper-blue-collar to fine. All of the people seem to be more milling about nonchalantly, and as the path ascends, fewer and fewer are on their commlinks. A couple of the humans and orks give a faint nod to Aaliah as he passes, but most are absorbed in their commlinks or staring off into space. After a couple dozen meters, the path branches off, one winding down and east while another passes through a wide arch gate with a plaque marked as the nature preserve for Peoria Heights. A smaller metal sign politely requests minimized commlink usage, though scratching defaces the small sign. A dwarf in a white, faux-silk suit passes Aaliyah, nods with a slightly impressed demeanor, and then walks quickly into the park.

The hill itself rises above all of Peoria except the high-rise downtown Mitsuhama district across the river, though frequent trees and other vegetation give a broken view of most of the city. AR maps indicated a few lookout rest areas, most on the south and east face of the hill.

Baron orders a cab to pick him up.  When it arrives, he gets in and relays the destination.
Remember, you don't have to kill the vehicle to stop it, just kill the guy driving it.

-Peoria, Arcadia District. Evening Sun's Club-
Richard sips at his ale and lifts it in recognition when Baron leaves. A couple of the other scattered patrons watch Baron as he walks out, but nobody motions to follow. The city outside seems almost as dark as inside, the clouds having gathered into a gloomy overcast. The traffic has picked up by this point, the city entering its evening rush hour. A variety of shades and tones of cars, subcompacts and vans, zip back and forth on the faintly dusty roads. It takes only about a minute before an automated cab arrives for Baron, and the onboard computer accepts the address and speeds down the road to the safehouse.

Aaliyah continues towards the overlooks in the direction of the high rises, keen on finding some view of the waterfront, hopefull better signal too.

*Some time later*

Once people had arrived at the apartment, Nitro leaned back in a chair and put her feet up on the table.  "So, what's next?"

Chikage did maintenance on all her weapons while Nitro worked. By the time the others had arrived with the rest of the gear, she had already finished cleaning and reassembling the lot of them. Looking up to Nitro, she said, "I'd suggest making contact with some of the local players, as well as perhaps arranging for a raid on the armories where the milspec weapons are housed. We need to make this guy look bad, and having your military grade weapons fall into the hands of the gangers you were going to use it against sounds like a good start."
