Not yet, and not announced.

Absolute power is kinda neat.

I was looking on Amazon after I posted this, and they show July 3rd as the ship date.

Is that not true?

Amazon is notorious for making things up. This is one of those things. Nothing has been announced by CGL about the release date for SR5.

Damn.  I have a gaming group I'm trying to get into Shadowrun.  I figured that buying 5th would be an easy in rather than buying 20th Anna + 8 other books.

Know what?  Screw it.  We're still using 5th Ed Hero System even though 6th has been out for over two years.  I'll tell 'em we're sticking with 4th ed.

It'll probably be ready for GenCon (August). Grab a copy of the Quickstart Rules when they come out (soon) if your group is that impatient.

I would hope the PDF of the full rules will also be out soon. Since, you know, the full rules are out in the wild already.

Ditto. Or at least an option to throw money at it in expectation of it coming out.

Pre-orders and PDF sales will likely be available 4-6 weeks before the print book is available. Once we get a better idea from the printers when the print run will be ready, we'll be better able to determine the time to start pre-orders.

Any reason why you are delaying the pdf release even further?  Its already bad enough that we have people like Bull taunting us with 'Behold and despair', but now we even have to wait even longer...
You're clearly aiming/delaying for a Gencon release but I have no clue why...

Anyhow: great that this kind of stuff gets posted in the OLD shadowrun forums..horrible communication, its like you even dont want people to go to the new forums...

The new forums would be Shadowrun Universe, which people complain aren't easy to navigate. Until the three companies involved pool together money from the games to pay for the website development, I don't see that changing. But the people from Catalyst still hop over occasionally for a few answers.
How am I not part of the forum?? O_O I am both active and angry!

I'd prefer if there was no "new forum".  If it weren't for the video games, I'd pretend that site doesn't even exist.  Put it all here.  Please and thank you.
