yeah, that low light ability would def help, especially with Knives' weak light source.
You got the casing off anyways and bent a bit of a gap for the cabling off the black box to fit through

Ok I'm trying to think of the best way to get down.   How hard would it be to have Mantis hang on to me and use the gloves and rope to lower us down?

Thankfully I got the stealth rope and can dissolve it with the catalyst stick from the ground.

It's doable, what's the weight limit on stealth rope? Or is it microwave I'm thinking of that has the weight limit?
You could either lower him down (much easier than dragging him up) and then climb down yourself, or get a really good anchorpoint (I mean really good!) and climb yourself down with mantis strapped on like a backpack.

According to page 337 of the core book: Micro rope can support a weight of up to 2,000 kg; all other ropes can support a weight of up to 4,000 kg.  So I don't think weight should be an issue.  I think I'll go with lowering him down as long as it's not going to make a bunch of noise like hauling him up, shouldn't be long as I don't drop him .

*Edit*  Only now do I remember that Knives specifically bought a grapple gun for this very reason.  I'm dumb.  Plus I assume it's a little big to just tuck in your knapsack, so that's why I figured it would have left it in the trunk.
