@ Csjarrat, You know how you where thinking changing the game to 5th edition, I'd be game if you could let me make a new mystic adept. See I have an addition in real life to making new characters and that would let me feed my addition. Just an idea you are the GM your call.

You're about 40 metres away from dunk. You're essentially behind a row of market stalls, a crowd of market workers are watching the fight unfold as they strip down stalls and unload vans.
If you want to cross the market stalls and get into the footpath to make better time, then I'll need to see jump tests or climbing at +2 which is slower but you don't run the risk of falling flat on your face.
If you want to stay on this side of the stalls, you'll be in cover from ranged attacks, but the obstacles and workers will impose negative mods on any run/sprint tests

Do you two want to draft up some 5e versions of mantis and knives? I'll give them a looksie to make sure it'll work. Obviously you'll get to keep any earned karma, gear and cash.

we're out of combat timer now, though we will re-enter if/when the bikers locate you.
feel free to post whatever action.

Also, scawire; Mantis will take another box of damage for every 10 minutes he doesn't receive medical attention due to bleeding. treatment with a medkit with stop this and an improvised tourniquet will triple the time interval for extra damage

I'll give it a shot using the 5th ed chummer beta that's floating around the boards.   I just have problems prioritizing,  I'm not sure which is most appropriate for how Knives was originally spent.  It will probably be the weekend before I get it posted but I'll start working on it.

Currently I only have the core book.  Though after reading some discussions it sounds like they ruined my fineblades.  Really I think the only thing I have to have out of a splat book is an Adept's way.

The fine blades are a bit "meh" tbh, two normal swords or combat knives are a bit better for the cost.
I'm half tempted to use prime runner rules with you guys as there are only two of you. Opposition will be stiffer but gives more flexibility in the build
How does that sound?
