I think blades probably represents the best skill for the job. +2 mod for having the right martial art too.
You would have seen the sign directing to the locker rooms, its up one floor on the same staircase you came up.

Ok, so way back down the corridor towards the platform you disembarked onto was a maintenance corridor, the door has a wireless keypad lock and is in the line of sight of a camera in a mirrored dome mount on the ceiling. there is also a swipecard lock about 20meters that responds to your search query, its icon pops up in AR but is out of line of sight on the other side of the door.

Both locks and cameras are good consumer level versions, DR 3 with identical DP/FW
They are all on the TFL grid and slaved to the station's host.

So the DP/FW != 3?  Or does the host also have a DP/FW of 3?  AFAIK, the only way I'd know they were slaved to something is that their DP/FW were not equal to their DR (which would be a dead giveaway), or by going into the master and looking for devices slaved.  That said, here's another MP for the host:
Matrix Perception TFL host (Logic 6 + MP 6 + TM 2 + Spec 2 = 16): 16d6t5 4
Wow, that's a crappy roll.  But good enough for me:
1. device rating
2. firewall rating
3. sleaze rating
4. data processing rating

And then finally does Taylor see an alarm system separate from the locks, or is it an integrated system?

Knowledge Blades 2 + Logic 2 + Martial Arts bonus 2 = 6d6 [5]. 6d6.hits (5)=1

One more question, are there an even number of fencers?  Is everyone partnered up or is there room for one more if Knives does decide to go "practice"?

there is currently an even number of fencers but there are a few looking like they're doing their stretches and cool down exercises. by the time you get changed and get down into the hall you figure there'll be someone to practice with

So the DP/FW != 3? sorry, yeah rules memory fail. its a DR3 camera, DP3 as per normal. FW is 6 as per host.  Or does the host also have a DP/FW of 3?  AFAIK, the only way I'd know they were slaved to something is that their DP/FW were not equal to their DR (which would be a dead giveaway), or by going into the master and looking for devices slaved.  That said, here's another MP for the host:

2. firewall rating 6
3. sleaze rating 1
4. data processing rating 9

And then finally does Taylor see an alarm system separate from the locks, or is it an integrated system? you just see the icons for the locks and assume alarm is built in to reduce ability to tamper with the alarm

Bah, I should have thought about this more.  This is a perfect use for puppeteer (Resonance Veil is even better).  Oh well.  Hacking the TFL it is :)

HotF TFL host (Log 6 + Hack 6 = 12): 12d6t5 3
Don't have much edge, but this seems like a good time to use it.  I'm going against 11 dice :(
Edging for search (9 misses): 9d6t5 2
geeze.  Well, 5 dice, need 1 net hit, here's hoping.

Resistance roll 11d6.hits(5)=4
You get one net hit, I assume you were after one mark so you could enter the host?

Yup, so I could get a direct connection to the lock, and maybe find a map showing where both doors led to.  Make sure I wasn't going into the employee lounge when I'm trying to sneak out 😆

Thanks for having me guys, finalized version of Silas' character sheet.

Silas Blackwell

Background
Nothing really matters to Silas anymore. Not after he found out that he has some kind of incurable diseases that is slowly causing his heart to fail, and that every treatment has faield to even slow down. It isn't a fast disease, but that's even worse in his books, since he wants to be alive when he dies. Who gives a heck if dying in your sleep was more peaceful, he'd much rather be aware of his moment of death. Silas has always been a serous, dour dwarf, not out of stereotype, but because professionalisim matters to him, and that lfie is something that needs to be taken seriously, blast it! Knowing that he is dying has only reinforced that, and he is determined to go out as a true professional.

Silas was born in London, not at the gutter level, but his parents weren't really anybody either, and not as Silas. When it was found out that he was awakened his family suddenly got a lot more attention, and pretty soon Silas was going through school on a scholarship from an A-rated English corps specializing in the market of Reagents and other magical artifacts. Silas graduated school, and sarted working as a specialist for the corp. His main job was retrieving artifacts from anywhere, wether undiscovered sights, private collections, etc. etc., through whichever means the corp required. Then the corp accidentally got the attention of a bigger fish, and reading the writing on the wall, Silas jumped ship before he got his head chewed off and stuck in the proverbial wood chipper. He fled into the shadows, having a hacker erase all traces of his exsistence from the corps computers, then killed the hacker. He's been operating as Silas for close to twelve years now, and only found out about his disease a year ago.

Welcome saithor!  I've been looking forward to seeing someone using the Borrowed Time Trait :)

Mostly for purposes of this isn't the first character I created for the game. There's a ghoul mage as well, but Csjarret said she would be unsuited for the upcoming chapter, so it's going to be Silas for that. Makes more sense that way as well, becuase in PbP, how often would count as a session for the killing dice roll anyway?

Hehe, yeah that might be awkward.
Roll me a data search test (3) to find the map then.

Yeah, this is going to take me a few minutes :P
Data Search (Computer 6 Logic 6 = 12): 12d6t5 1
Data Search (Computer 6 Logic 6 - Try Again 1 = 11): 11d6t5 4
There we go.  Two minutes?
Then I'll HotF the next object that makes sense (direct connect through the Host), either the swipe card door lock or the camera if I need to go down that hall:
HotF TFL device (Log 6 + Hack 6 = 12): 12d6t5 2
Wow, I'm rolling *really* poorly :(  Getting caught is *not* an option, so I guess I'll use my last edge here :(  Hopefully it's on the lock thats getting me out of the building:
Edging for hotf (10 misses): 10d6t5 4
Needed that roll first time.  6 hits reduced to sleaze limit of 5.
