Long drive back from Glasgow tonight gents so will get a post up over the weekend. Perception is only for non-obvious stuff so isn't a requirement here unless you want to look for the unusual

Hopefully Knives can pull this off real slick, using the locker for cover.
Palming 4 + Agility 7 = 11d6. 11d6.hits(5)=1  Concealability is -2.

Any idea what the Rose and Crown is or more importantly any unmonitored alley between here and there.
Area Knowledge London 2 + Intuition 4 = 6d6. 6d6.hits(5)=1

Shitty rolls :/

How far am I from the exit?  Is he in a spot where he can make a break for it?  Also, are the guards looking at a monitor or in the hallway at me?  If they just noticed a fritzed out camera, I'll just keep walking like I belong there and move on to the next one.

Yeah, there just that one door separating you from a short corridor to the fire escape and street access.nthe corridor runs for maybe 20 yards or so before the exit via the sewerage. To save time, there is a simple mechanical DR1 trip switch which sounds an audible buzzer when the fire exit is opened. It is accessible via the host.
As for the workers;
They didn't see you, he just heard footsteps in the hallway and assumed it was his pal. Given you're right next to the door to the toilets that should explain where he thinks his pal has just come back from :-)

First things first, lets silence that alarm.
HotF TFL door alarm (Log 6 + Hack 6 = 12): 12d6t5 3
That'll beat a DR 1 device.
Control Device silence alarm (Int 5 + EW 6 = 11): 11d6t5 4
Ditto.

Which leaves me at what to do about the guard hearing me.  I guess I'm a big confused as to how I'm hearing him?  Is it reasonable for me to just keep walking through this door like I belong here?  That's what I'm going for.  Just keep on keeping on :)

Apologies, this is the problem with play by post.
I'll do.my best;

You were at a crossroads, approaching from south.
West is the signals room, open door.
East is the toilets, closed door.
North goes to fire exit.

As you go north to fire exit, you cross path of signals room.
Staff hear your footsteps and call out to you, thinking you're the guy in the toilets. You hear the call through the open door.
Hope that helps mate, I'll draft up a diagram if not

Yeah, I had a similar problem on an IRC game I was playing 2 weeks ago.  Wasted 3 CTs hunting for the wrong person :/

Your explanation makes sense.  Faking something here isn't gonna work, he's just gonna press on.  Once he's through the door he's 30 steps from the outside world.  Last question, can the signals room see into the hallway that's on the other side of this door?

Goal:
Ignore the guy calling through the open door and then race down the hallway to the last door as quickly as possible, hoping to loose them in confusion.  If Taylor would think this idea would draw more attention than avert than I'll come up with another plan.

Make sense?

Yep, sounds sensible. You figure you could easily get lost into the protest by the time they come looking(if they even would)
There's a.store cupboard that has a door into the hallway but there's no direct line of sight.
You're free to IC it, the devices will yield to your commands.

Today I learned that the "Manual interface" thing in the SR5 rigger options table means manual interface for turrets! Adjusting character sheet to reflect that my shin hyung and GMC bulldog do not have turrets (yay ¥1000 extra?)

A little intended contact background:
Evan O'Brien (Loyalty 4, Rating 1) is something of a father figure for Ena (Redline).  She picked up both what she considers her actual name, and a lot of her skills from hanging out with him.  There's no SIN for any "Ena O'Brien" with her description but that's who she thinks of herself.

Evan himself is one of those rare retired shadowrunners.  Like Ena, he's a redhead.  He's also Irish.  Like ex-pat from Tir Nan Og Irish, complete with a prejudice against the pointy-eared masters of that land.  Lives in Merseysprawl (Liverpool side) and owns a small pub (Probably called O'Brien's) to keep busy in his old age.

If anything above needs to be tweaked, edited or changed to fit current setting let me know!
