Hi mate, just had a re-read through the intimidation rules and yeah, they're actually pretty shit. so it seems i put you into an unwinnable situation so lets go with a houserule.
Feel free to use negotiation (diplomacy spec would be super helpful) or con to spin a lie to resolve the situation (can use the intimidation factor of the longarm as a +4 mod either way, they're not daft and know what a shotgun blast at close range would do to them and it'll make them want to believe your story a little bit more lol)
Otherwise, we can roll with intimidation as a physical/social hybrid test (BOD+STR+CHA) opposed by INT+LOG+CHA for the heavies. No limit and the +4 for the longarm appliues, though they'll get the +2 for their revolver

Is it unable to make it back even if I move to ground-the thing and have it roll over the drifts?  If that's the still the case I'll work on tracking the thing down.
Hey mate, your piloting test manages to get the drone within 250m of the van before it runs out of power and enters emergency standby mode, the last image it sends back is a thermal image of the van, at the top of the hill.
you know it is off to the left hand side and quite a way down the hill and in some fairly deep drifting snow

Yeah, she knows you're not a regular decker, that smith uses you for odd jobs that the regular hires can't do and suspects you're a TM. Just never had it confirmed to her from the horse's mouth so-to-speak

Thanks.  It feels to me through role play, that Bex and Mams are reasonably close given they actually meet in the meat.  Should I switch her in for my Smith contact and lower the connection and raise the loyalty?  Not close like he'd like to be with Amber, but nearly as friendly as he is with Ralphy.
