Whelp that definitely is a SS that manages to do a burst. So it's an always-short-burst Single-shot Revolver. ^_^

Think there was something similar in previous editions, a gun firing two bullets at once (which can be pretty common, but not as a semi automatic handgun)

That would be a pain to reload, and aim, and not hit yourself in the head with. I love it.

If it's based on the Lefaucheux 20-round revolver:  7.65mm Pinfire.

...

No, it isn't.  It's the 18-shot Pistola con Caricato revolver, which is in 6.35x16mm semi-rimmed caliber (.25 ACP).  Which means it uses 18-round "Moon" Clips.  (Yes, I said clips, because it's RIGHT in this instance!)

So I googled a bit, and apparently moon clips are indeed the revolver version of clips rather than advanced speedloaders, since you just click them into place. Wonder how much a Moon Clip mod for revolvers would cost in Shadowrun, and how many slots it would take - aside from only needing a Free and Simple Action to reload a smart revolver instead of a Complex, it makes it easier to carry the empty cartridges with you afterwards.

Said to myself: "If that's loaded with anything bigger than a .22 then it's going to be a pain on the wrists." Fortunately a .25 isn't (much) bigger than a .22.

Absolute power is kinda neat.

Because I enjoy watching people hurt themselves doing stupid things, I want to see someone make one of those that takes the same ammo as a Desert Eagle.

Wouldn't that be a simple+simple(so no faster then complex action it takes to use speed loader), both removing and inserting a new clip is a single action.

Not with a smartgun, if it counts as a Shadowrun-clip.

Some ideas... of course.

The mass of the gun would reduce some of the kick back...
You could have different ammo on each barrel, determined at loading time.
The Troll version could have high caliber on the inner barrels...
Oh!  A grenade launcher for the inner barrel...
