Is anyone's gaming group sticking with 4th ed?  I'm thinking I'm gonna try to get my gaming group to stay with 4th.  All those core rules books are just too much to pass up.

I would stick with fourth Ed. if CharGen was faster, if the matrix was simpler and more usable. All things 5th edition has :)

I am also happy we will only need 1 book for a little while
Chaos? Lack of protection? Enemies lurking in the shadows? Sounds
to me like the fun’s just beginning. Sorry you’ll miss it, omae.

My core group I'm unsure on atm, just actually popped the question to them.

I am hoping for a 5th ed group. Worse case scenario I'll try to get a 2nd 5th ed game going on Saturday Nights on Skype or something. But I'm looking forward to the new rules, from what I've seen I have very few complaints (really love capping the hits, will allow for more broader builds rather than everyone super specializing in everything hopefully).

5th gen is already penciled into my group's gaming schedule after my Dark Heresy game concludes and in rotation with the other GM's WFRP 2 campaign.

I said "easier chargen" and the group just about battered down my door to get to play.

Unlikely to convert current campaign as the reduced options from just a core book with no splat is unlikely. I'd suspect that the next campaign would be likely to be in 5th (but we are likely to rotate genres)

Looks like my group will be making the switch to 5th.

I think part of my reason for sticking with 4th is my preference for a 2050 setting.

I'll put guns to heads to switch my groups to 5th. It's just that much easier. It really really is.

I dragged my feet getting into 3rd and 4th. I am currently planning to stick with that tradition.

I'm sure someone in my group will pick up 5th before long, or we'll all chip in a little, and we'll give it a try. Whether we adopt it or not will depend on how we like it.
Seems a sensible way of doing things.

2 gaming groups, 1 will shift, 1 probably not. Personally I'd go to 5th as faster matrix, and it looks like weaker mages(at least combat spells) are a draw for me.  Stlll I think direct damage spells got hit too hard, the everything is on the matrix thing I think is farking lame, grenades seem too deadly, and I'm on the fence with limits.

Totally sticking with 4th. Die pool (hit) caps are enough to kill 5th for me, but there are other mechanics changes I dislike too.

That said, I'm likely to steal the 5th ed matrix and import that. I may also use parts of 5th where/if it clarifies questions in the 4th ed rules.

The Aztechnology ziggurat is imposing in only the way corporate architecture mixed with a an ancient culture renown for its human sacrifice could be. Its hard to really determine which is more chilling, though... the ancient bloody past or modern soulless technology.

Probably staying with 4th.  I was planning to try 5th, but I was lukewarm to limits and some of the other changes, and the matrix bonuses (basically, either be gimped, or get the functionality you used to have at the expense of being a hacking target) really put the nail in the coffin for me.  If an errata fixes it (like SR4A putting the changes to direct spell Drain into the optional rules scrap bin), or if there is some ingenious player work-around, then I might reconsider.  It's kind of disappointing, because the previews actually had me looking forward to the new edition.
