Also, I calculated 1,400 starting Nuyen but Chummer is telling me it's really 7,000.  Could you double check and tell me which is right? I rolled 14 on my starting cash roll. Do I multiply by 100 or 500?

One 1 out of 6 dice is no glitch. Glitch is half dice showing one with at least one hit. Critical glitch is the same without any hits.
And i don't know why chummer counted your lifestyle as high, it should be a middle so a multiplier of 100 should apply.

And about firefighting equipment: i think it wouldn't be in your own pick-up truck, if it is city-owned. I wouldn't think your car is part of the firefighting carpark. So if you want to work here, i suggest we stay at the paramedic role, with your abilities you surely can take some extra work at the Rider.

I am with the fire truck.  I refer to it as a firetruck at the start and later on as either "truck" or "engine", a term used for fire trucks

Ah, i see now, i think what confused me was when you referred to it as "his truck". I was associating this with the GAZ P-179 Leroy owns. I see my mistake now 
Standard issue medkit for you is rating 4. Not the best but reasonably good.

@Gustovness: i was surprised about your rating 7 first aid so checked your sheet. That 7 already includes your Logic attribute, so the test should have been 5 dice less. After taking the last five, only 1 hit remains but it's enough: a sprain is not that hard to handle. The threshold usually relates to when you want to do actual healing, so that does not apply now.

Got 4 hits on the sensor perception test, but kept forgetting stuff. Should have had actively searching +3 on there too, let me know if I need to roll the extra or if 4 hits is enough
