You send your results to your contact and your message is met with an "I'll send you a message when I get the results" almost instantaneously.

You then get to searching for "culebas curare" on the Matrix. After a few moments, you find that it is a poison that was primarily used by aboriginal tribes in South America. The poison works as a lethal muscle relaxant, stopping the basic bodily functions, which usually ends with respiration paralysis, but doesn't affect the heart.

Satisfied with your findings, you decide to get ready to go meet the Johnson when something catches your eye: it's one of those "independent reporter" node mentioning something about curare in Neo-Tokyo. Curious, you read through the short paragraph. The "reporter", if you could call him that, says that he found a strange correlation between people dying after having run-ins with the Yoshimoto-gumi and deaths from people with curare poisoning. Of course, no evidence is presented to back his hunch.

*Interesting*, Kuren thinks as he finishes the article.  *I may have to investigate any possible Yakuza connections.  As he rides towards the meet on the subway he will update the case file.

You wait for a while and, true to her word, you see Makoto walking towards you with two other women. She waves at you from afar, with a smile on her face. Once they reach you, Makoto says "Sorry to make you wait" and gives you a small bow. She then continues with "This is Risa and Urara. The place is this way" and gets going down the street, avoiding the drunken salarymen and the various detritus lining the street.

Smiley will bump Jubei towards the other girls, and then take Mia and Makoto by the arms.  "Makoto, this is my friend Kitty, she was just tellng me a wonderful story about her brother being in a local youth movement, I don't see my folks anymore with work and all.  What is your family situation my lady?"  Smiley is making it seem like this is just banter and small talk, but he is watching her carefully with this question.

Smiley grins "David-san, and I asked you first.  I am curious about how family relationships work over here, are you a 'Daddy's Girl'?"

He is friendly in tone, and the question seems casual, but this the first he has heard of a father in the picture.  He hopes one of the others picks up on the item and can get some intel working.

"Are you asking if I'm married, David-san?" asks Makoto, an amused tone indicating that this is more games than serious for her. She then stops in front of a small building and enters with you, the rest of the gang in tow. The place could probably seat 10 people if chair were shared, no more. Makoto and the other 2 girls salute the chef and recommend you order the "late-night special", which is what they're having.

Fischer sighed at Sandman, "Fine, but you don't get my money until you deliver on the other two." He looked at the clock on his commlink and sighed again, *I should probably get some sleep.* With that he left the bar and headed back to the motel he called home for the time being, *I should start looking into a new place, I've been at that motel far too long.* As he made his way way back to his room, Fischer pondered on the prospect of Japan having an Eastern equivalent of European hostels.

Following the lead of their guide, Smiley will order for the three runners, also making seemingly casual maneuvers to put Makato between Mia and himself in seating, if not physically separating the three of them.

"Where I come from it would take quite a bit of wampum to make an offer for such a fine bride, I am simply trying to gather intel.  I understand if you see these questions as forward, but I really would like to know more, but I understand if there is some other reason you wouldn't want to share, we have family dysfunction in the Native American lands as well."  Smiley will still carefully watch for reactions as well as answers she makes.

He will also fire off a quick text to Kuren  "Found the daughter, any info on the girl's father?"
