Smiley keeps an eye on the street, but Pipebomb's comment has him calling up some other partygirls he knows.  It's a longshot, especially since this lady has been hiding, but figuring out who she was might give a line on who wanted her dead, and may give the team a line on their Johnson as well.  Trying Yuriko first Smiley fires of another text, "Hey beautiful, you got a minute for a brave redskin warrior?"

You take a look at the building across the street. The building is mostly devoid of anything magical except for some wards on a single apartment. You do notice it is on the second floor, second door from the stairs, which should make it 202. The apartment straight ahead from where "Fumiko Kawaguchi" was living has nothing interesting astral-wise, but there is presently a person inside. This person seems to be doing some sort of manual labour, but you can't tell what it is from your view in the Awakened world.

Hey, you still friends with that girl that owns the salon downtown?  I got a buddy that needs a makeover and a date to get him back on the right track, and he is a wizzer so I know she'll be all about him.  We can all go tear it up afterwards.

<There does not appear to be any countermeasures preventing entry.  I should go in with Yaibei to make sure he doesn't 'toss' anything.   That could be a crime scene, I need to take samples for testing back at the lab.  I am of little use out here other than making sure no alarms are sent.>

As you take a look around the node, you notice an alarm has been triggered by your hacking. The node knows someone is in but hasn't noticed you yet. You take a look at the camera feeds and see nothing unusual except for Mia's short stunt at the entrance. It shouldn't be too difficult to edit that out.

"Yes, hold still while i weave the light around you." J began concentrating on a force higher than himself flowing through him, something that could bend visible light and keep Pipebomb safe.
He winced as his headache renewed with extra vigor, but his mana weaved into a force that could bend the universes usual laws in the relatively tiny area around pipebomb. "There you are."
Force 6 improv Invis followed by a DV4 Resist (15d6.hits(5)=5, 10d6.hits(5)=3) 1S taken, 2 stun total.

Considering I have security access I'm going to Spoof Command to make the system believe the intruder has already been dispatched.  Dropping Attack Rating 5 for Spoof Rating 5.

Smiley will open doors wide and leave them to swing closed slowly, he can't see pipebomb, but he is doing his best to easily give him plenty of room if he is staying with him.  He is trying to get to the apartment, the idea being to burst in on the guy and act like a girl he knows is cheating on him with the resident.

Fischer made his way past Smiley and headed up to the apartment. Even with the invisibility spell in place, he still used infiltration techniques, in case the spell failed. He checked to see if there were any means by which he could get a peak into the apartment, and then checked to see what type of lock was on the door.

Through your admin privileges you try to spoof the node into thinking the intruder has already been taken care of. With some effort, you move things around, but find great resistance from the system and find yourself exactly where you started. You're either not on top of your game tonight or this is an advanced system in disguise.

As a change of pace, you turn your attention to the camera feed and find it quite easy to edit Mia's footage out. With this task done, you feel your luck turning around.

You go to the building across the street and get to the fourth floor. This building is a little more modern than the last one and you see a simple maglock on the door to apartment 409. A window next to the door gives you a view inside. Pipebomb takes a quick look inside and sees a middle-aged Japanese woman cutting up what seems to be a big daikon radish. Looks like she's preparing her lunch for the next day, as you see a bento box half-full sitting on the counter. Just then, Smiley is about to knock on the door loudly.
