"Thanks." Switching on his low light vision J starts to look around, taking which ever direction Kuren doesn't.

You go towards the entrance of the building, making sure Kuren has disabled the camera before passing by it. The entrance splits into two: one corridor where you came from, the other, to the right, into a "members only" area. You try to open the door at the end of the second one but notice it's locked. A quick inspection reveals it's a mechanical lock.

"Kobayashi Mizuki of course. I called, you answered cause you knew something about her right?"

[Chrona]

"Kuren-san, I have a staff area over here with a mechanical lock, I've flagged it with a private ARO for you." with that route blocked till Kuren unlocks it J checks the entrance  for any reception area might yield any clues

[Lumen]

"Hai, I will address it immediately."  Kuren follows the ARO to the door J indicated.  "There is not much information in the system so hopefully this room can shed some more light."

He kneels before the door and checks the settings on his AutoPicker before putting it to work.

It takes a few extra seconds but Kuren is able to coax the lock open and signals his success by changing the ARO J placed to a green thumbs up.  He takes a good look around the staff room using his flashlight to reveal anything too dark to make out with his low light vision alone.

You look around the reception area but find nothing of interest pertaining to the case.

Opening the "staff only" area, you see that it is essentially a morgue. There is a big refrigerator in the back with a few compartments for bodies, there are a few prepping tables with a shelf full of chemicals in the back of the room. The same chemicals, in fact, that you saw in the storage area when you first came in. Some instruments are nicely placed in glass cabinets alongside embalming fluids and such. Looking at the refrigerator, you only see one being occupied at the moment: Kanako Yamada.

"Looks like we hit jackpot, well I hope so" J follows him in. "Let me know when you're done."

[Lumen]

Kuren looks around for any sort of files or terminal autopsy information may be stored within.  *It would be nice to have a full report. There is no time for a full examination,  especially having to find and clean up tools.*


If Kuren finds anything that may have an autopsy report he'll investigate. If not he will move on to the refrigerator and pull the body out for examination.

Smiley will look for the way the bodies come into the morgue, trying to find how, if necessary to remove the body from the building.

You look around for a short time, looking for any sort of report on the body. Attached to the refrigerated locker is an RFID tag with a report on whatever body is in at the moment. You find the report for "Kanako Yamada" and read through it. Surprisingly (or unsurprisingly in this case), the report is quite short. You quickly spot the cause of death, which says it's heart failure. Besides that, nothing else seems to stand out in the report, except of course for its brevity and the fact that it says Kanako Yamada worked for Renraku.

"She was killed, neko-chan" answers the spirit. "As to who did it, I do not know. You might have a better chance of asking her directly. But I can tell you she was found in her apartment and that it was completely emptied of any evidence."
